Worth more than what you pay for it.
I've been shining shoes for 30 years. This is an excellent shoe polish on par with more expensive polishes like Saphir. This is an example (unlike the brushes) where you get what you pay for doesn't apply. The picture here is a single coat of polish. Yep... ONR coat and maybe a 5 minute job. If you want more shine (I don't) add another coat. "Two coats McFly". With that said half of getting a good result is the brushes you use. Get 100% horse TAIL hair brushes. You also need a buffing/shine brush and a finishing brush like the Saphir brush in the picture. Decent brushes may cost you a bit more but the results are worth it and honestly they are easier to use then a buffing rag. Complete your kit like this for pro results, see pics for my full kit: -Borenhair brush for cleaning stubborn dirt off without damaging the finish. -Horse tail applicator or foam applicator(like for car wax) for applying this great polish. -Horse tail hair Buff/shine brush - remove light dust and give yourself a field shine during the day and also for the initial buff after. -A buff rag or microfiber rag also for a final clean before applying polish is a good idea. -Horse Tail Hair Finishing Brush like the Saphir brush shown. This is a more dense brush that will give you a final shine and will rival the "spit shine" you get from a fast buff rag while easily done with one hand. Brushes are one of those things that gets confusing because of how they are marketed. And finding a dedicated shoe care shop may help, you can always come back to Amazon like I do to find the brush after. Also not all boots are created equal, some leather just doesn't take polish or mink oil depending on the grain.

A good product at a good price.
A YouTube video used a crème that cost three times more, saying that there are less expensive options. Red Moose is definitely that option, I keep my shoes in pretty good appearance with shoe polish but this stuff puts everything an easy notch up. It’s not a high gloss but still shiner than before.

Solid Leather Care Kit with Good Everyday Performance
I am very pleased with the RED MOOSE Boots and Shoe Cream – Shoe Polish Kit for Leather. Shipping was prompt, and the polish kit arrived well-packaged and in excellent condition. The container and its contents were securely wrapped, and there were no leaks or damage during transit. In terms of product quality, the cream polish applies smoothly and spreads evenly across leather surfaces. It has a pleasant consistency—not too thick or greasy—which makes it easy to work into shoes and boots with a cloth or brush. Once buffed, the polish leaves a clean, consistent shine that helps revive and protect the leather’s appearance. I found that it also helped fill in minor scuffs and provided a subtle, well-conditioned look without any sticky residue. The kit itself feels practical for regular maintenance. The container is a convenient size, and the included or compatible tools make the application process straightforward—even for someone who doesn’t polish leather frequently. The formula seems balanced between shine and nourishment, helping maintain suppleness in footwear without compromising the natural texture. From a value perspective, this shoe cream kit offers good utility for the price. It performs as expected for everyday leather care and helps extend the life and appearance of dress shoes, boots, or other leather items without requiring professional products. Overall, this is a reliable, easy-to-use leather care kit that delivers a respectable shine and practical protection for leather footwear. I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable shoe polish.

A Good Product
Easy to apply and spreads well, meaning you don’t need to use that much product with each application. Its consistency suggests it will last a long time in the jar if used only occasionally. This is an advantage over products made from denser wax-type materials, which can dry out if left in the container for prolonged periods of time.

Excellent. Don't let the little jar fool you. A little bit goes a long way.
Great product. Cleans and restores leather my leather shoes. I don't like a shiny shine. But this goes on smoothly and looks soft, natural ,with a nice glow after buffing . Love this. Have been using the cake-type polish for years. Didn't know that cream polish is so much better AND is actually recommended by shoe experts.

Restored better than others.
Consider this old-school skeptic officially converted. I finally gave that fancy little glass jar of Red Moose Boot Cream a go on my 30+ year old Chippewa Boots. You know, the ones that have seen more honest work than most modern “rugged lifestyle” influencers. They were beat almost permanent retirement. A little elbow grease (the traditional, non-electric kind), and I’ll admit it: they look respectable again. Not “trendy distressed.” Not “artisan pre-worn.” Just properly revived. I’ve tried a host of other boot potions over the years. They did… fine. But nothing has brought these old warhorses back like this stuff. So yes, I’ll be keeping a jar on hand. Turns out some things still work the way they’re supposed to, no hashtags required.

Good Quality
After purchasing both black and brown shoe polish, I have had good experiences with both polishes and would recommend both for those looking to utilize the traditional method of shoe polishing. The polish appears to be of a good quality and returns my shoes to a nice shine and color with each use. Given that each container will likely last me over twenty applications, I consider this to be a fairly good value, although after several uses, I likely will switch to using polish sponges due to how much more effort is involved in the traditional method for very little additional benefit. But, for those who subscribe judiciously to the traditional method, I would definitely recommend this polish.
