I have had bad luck with Rowenta irons which are supposed to be the best, so I thought I would try this one. Very nice iron for the money. I have used it and I'm very pleased. Nice amount of steam and glides easily over the fabric. The only thing I'll say is that it's not as heavy as the Rowenta's, but I'm okay with that. I would recommend this iron.

My age is showing! I am reviewing an iron. 🤣 I love this thing! Now it may be because my old shark brand quit steaming a while back and I am ironing cowboy jeans! I need that crease! I use some heavy starch and the steam factor is what makes it work! This was on sale and I honestly just needed a hotter, steamy, iron and did not care about the brand. So I got this! It is easy to use! It works AMAZING on my hubby’s jeans! So much easier to get that crisp look! Also, less flake from the starch with this iron (steam helps) so less work! I managed to get four pairs of jeans and five button down shirts done in 40 minutes while doing a tella health visit! My ADHD was in full force at the moment! I am very happy with my purchase and will be sending the old shark to the grave yard! Thank you Puresteam. I pray it works for 20 years so I don’t have to buy another!

I had high hopes for this iron based on all the positive reviews. Overall, it’s a decent iron, but compared to others I’ve used, the soleplate, while smooth, doesn’t glide quite as effortlessly across fabric. I also find it a bit on the light side; I’d actually prefer a little more weight for better pressing performance. On the plus side, it heats up quickly and is easy to use. The cord is 8 feet long, as advertised, but feels a bit short to me - though I might just be spoiled by my old iron, which had a 12-foot cord. All things considered, it’s a solid iron for the price, especially if you can catch it on sale.

My old Tefal iron just gave up the ghost. Ordered this one and it seems to be fine. It takes a minute to heat up and I am still getting used to its weight and size, but think it is going to be a good iron.

We iron A LOT. This has been a great iron. Needed an iron that doesn't break the bank, but still does a great job. As a quilter I iron lots of fabric in addition to our clothes for work. We've had this a few months now and it works great, just as well as some bigger name brands.

I was searching for a replacement for my old (excellent) Black Decker D2030 iron and after trying the D3030, found this iron. I have been using it for about a year now, and the steam is good and no leaks. My only complaint is that the cap for filling the water tank is not marked and for a newbie hunting for the cap, it is easy to yank off the steam selector switch instead.

This is my second time purchasing this Pure Steam iron from Amazon. The first one lasted us a long time, and we never had any major issues with it. After more than four years of daily use, it finally stopped working, and we definitely got our money’s worth. Because it worked so well, we bought the same one again. This iron heats up quickly and does a great job getting wrinkles out. I also appreciate the safety features, like the beeping sound if it is left unattended for too long, and the automatic shutoff after about an hour. It is heavy duty, durable, and glides smoothly on almost all materials. We have not had any problems with snagging. My only suggestion would be adding a retractable cord, but other than that, it is a great iron and worth buying.

I purchased this item for my mother for mothers day. It worked great for about 6 weeks but now it leaks water all over the place and drenches her clothes when she irons them(even with steam control set to minimum). I contacted the Pur Steam since the return window was only 1 month but the warranty is 1 year to see if they will replace this one with a new one. Hopefully this was just a quality control error and they send use a new one that works properly. I will update this when I hear back from Pur Steam. Update: Pur Steam was extremely helpful, they got in touch with me the next day and since they do not offer replacement parts, they sent a new one free of charge and shipped it immediately. Within a few days it arrived. Hopefully this one works as well as the reviews say it does.
