I am no longer worried about the hood flying open.
Our OEM hood latches were getting a little warn and, after closer inspection, I noticed the rubber was cracking. These went on easily and have components for both JK and JL hoods. We have a 2015 JK and they worked great. They have been on for over a month and I recently checked to see how tight they were after that time. I may need to adjust them once or twice to get every 100% dialed in, but that should only impact aesthetics. Opening and closing the hood is easy and it no longer moves around from wind gusts when passing semis or anything else.I only gave Quality of material four stars because I have not had enough time to convince myself that they will last for the long run. I have no reason to think they will fail, just not enough time to give it five stars yet.

Simple install after removing the original hood latches. They fit tight and secure. Would purchase these again!

Because they are metal, my son thought they woukd be prone to chipping, so we returned them for a refund.Pretty nice looking thou !
