recently purchased the Beetles gel nail polish set from Amazon, and I’m really impressed! The color selection is gorgeous and exactly as pictured—very pigmented, smooth, and easy to apply. Most shades only needed 1–2 coats to get full coverage. The formula goes on evenly without being too thick or runny, which made it beginner-friendly. Once cured, the polish had a nice glossy finish and held up really well—no chipping or peeling for over a week (and that’s with regular daily use). I also appreciate that there wasn’t a super strong smell like some other gel polishes I’ve tried. For the price, you get great quality and a good variety of colors. The only thing I’d note is that you do need a UV/LED lamp to cure it, but that’s expected with gel polish. Overall, I would definitely buy from Beetles again and recommend it to anyone looking for affordable, salon-quality nails at home!

I'll start by saying that I know almost nothing about doing nails. I struggle to even paint mine without making a mess or accidentally smudging them before they're dry etc. I love having them done but 1. The cost is outrageous and 2. I have terrible anxiety so sitting with a stranger for an hour, trying to make small talk is a nightmare for me. ANYWAY... I absolutely LOVE this kit. I bought other nail tips/gel glue/and nail stickers off of Amazon, but otherwise this kit had everything i needed. When I first put my nails under the light, I was concerned because i did feel a burning sensation, but it went away after about 10 seconds and only happened on the very first layer. The nail gel cured the false tips in 60 seconds and unlike just regular nail glue, these felt/feel SECURE. I painted two layers, curing in between each one. THIS was what made it amazing for me, because everything was dry, so painting my non dominant hand was much easier not having to worry about smudging what I had already done. Next I used the tweezers that came in the kit and applied nail stickers. I added 2 layers of top coat (curing between each) and, boom!.... my nails were done, not smudged, felt secure, and looked really pretty! The pictures are from 5 days AFTER I did them. They have held up very well and still don't feel like they are loose or ready to come off. I have tried to avoid a ton of water, aside from showers, but other than that, ive done nothing different. The colors are great and most are completely covered in two coats. The UV light functions very well and so does all of the tools that come along with the kit. Highly recommend. All I did was follow directions. If I can do my nails, anyone should be able to. Worth every penny

I have a bad habit of biting and picking at my nails. It's embarrassing and I wanted to stop. I got this kit and so far, no mail biting or picking! My nails are strong and much longer than before! I do better when I can't see how long they are. The gel cures under UV light so as soon as the top coat is done, I can go do things like scrubbing the dishes or gardening or cooking or giving the dog a bath and my nails stay pretty. I like the variety of colors. I chose to paint each nail tester with 3 coats, covering 1/3 each time so I could see what 1, 2 and 3 coats looks like and cured between coats. I took a sharpie and wrote the color code on the reverse. I ordered the HEMA free top coat and foundation coat set (white bottles) separately. They're for sensitive nails and I love them! Key points: - Use a thin, even coat for base, color and top coats! - Cure between coats - All coats are tacky except for top coat after curing. THIS IS NORMAL. DO NOT WIPE. - Use SPF on hands, fingers, toes (yes it works for pedis too) and wrists. I use a lotion style SPF 50 and wait 30 mins minimum before starting. The first time I didn't use SPF and my fingers, cuticles and tips of my fingers had a burning/stinging sensation when using the light. I watch a show on Netflix or Disney to pass the time. - I also bought a gel remover and liquid latex separately on Amazon (not beetles) because I hate the smell of acetone/nail polish remover. Gel remover works great but don't get any on your skin, it burns like acid. I'm not allergic to latex so this really helps my polish look clean. - This kit comes with a cuticle softener (great value and very helpful!) And a cuticle oil (I do better with lotion.) I had to wait 48 hours between my first cuticle removal and my first paint session. - The nails MUST be clean and dry. After applying SPF and waiting for it to soak in, take a rubbing alcohol wipe or a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol and wipe each nail off. Then take one of the pink little squares and wipe off any dirt. - Shape your nails BEFORE you paint them. I have used the included nail art items however the only ones that stay on are the pearls for me. - Clean off any excess nail polish/top or bottom coats BEFORE you cure! I use the metal cuticle tool included to scrape away any excess. - The UV lamp can get warm. - If you use the nail art items, those metal tweezers (included) are your best friend! - Yes, the bottles are small but they will last you if you use thin even layers. - The odor is still present but very low considering the alternative. 100% would recommend and would buy as a gift! It's a great starter kit for beginners!!

The best little kit, comes with all of the necessities that you need for not only a simple glam but also a little dazzle! It’s a neat little kit that has saved me $$ from going to the nail salon and over spending almost every 3 weeks! Recommend for someone who is completely over the salon prices and can do with a simple look. Not time consuming, considering your patience with perfecting it but its definitely worth every penny and this fresh painted and still looks the same after 10 days. Highly recommend ladies and gentlemen!

With a new baby at home i don’t have time to go to the salon so i got this set and wow! so easy to apply. i recommend adding the builder gel after the base coat for longer lasting nails.

Die Lacke sind sehr klein und nicht wirklich deckend aber ich habe mir dieses große Set für Designs geholt und da reicht es komplett aus. Für mehrere 10 Finger Maniküren in einer Farbe würde es definitiv nicht ausreichen. Das ganze zusätzlich Zubehör ist aber wirklich gut. Somit kann ich da auch nicht viel negatives sagen.

When I was looking at the pictures it seemed like the bottles of polish were bigger but they are quite small in person, but the top coat and base coat are a good value size. I haven’t used them yet but I’m sure they will be good quality.
