They've taken a beloved classic and given it a visually stunning, emotionally resonant cinematic makeover.First off, the world of Oz is absolutely breathtaking. They've translated the stage magic into a sprawling, vibrant spectacle. It’s like stepping into a living painting, every scene bursting with color and detail. It’s a feast for the eyes, even for those of us who usually prefer our entertainment with a bit more… explosions.The story, as always, is a masterclass in nuanced storytelling. It's not just about good versus evil; it's about friendship, acceptance, and the power of perspective. They’ve captured the heart of the show perfectly, and even added some new layers that really enhance the experience.The performances are top-notch. They’ve brought these iconic characters to life with such depth and authenticity. The chemistry between Elphaba and Glinda is electric, and their vocal performances are simply stunning. They deliver those iconic songs with power and emotion, making you feel every note.Look, I get it. Musicals aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. But "Wicked" transcends genres. It’s a story that resonates with everyone, regardless of their musical preferences. It’s about being true to yourself, even when the world tells you that you're too different. And that's a message that everyone can get behind.They've done justice to the source material, and they’ve created a film that’s both entertaining and thought-provoking. This movie is one of my favorite movies of the year!!! Went to see it, and it was a treat. It is definitely a good movie for families, though there are some scary scenes towards the end with the wizard of Oz. There is no language and any inappropriate scenes for the most part. The acting was brilliant (Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey, and Michelle Yeoh were perfect, and Jeff Goldblum was an excellent choice to play the wizard of Oz). The singing and music really surprised me as really good because the songs did not over-cram the lyrics into the rhythms and tunes like in many Disney musicals. The music was very catchy. The visual effects were excellent, the dance-coreography was amazing, and the costume design was really fun and over the top. Kudos and my hearty congratulations to everyone on that cast and to everyone who worked on this movie as a whole! I definitely recommend this movie.

This was the best movie ever in my opinion. I so hope they make a part two a part three and a part four if they do, I will indeed be buying them for sure. Give them a 20 if I could.

I LOVE this movie; I've seen it numerous times. One time in the theatre, some times on line lol, I paid for the Google Play movie and I bought the BluRay. I just can't get enough of this movie. The singing, the dancing, the characters that are played so well. There's no one that I don't like in this movie! 10/10

Finally, I got to watch "Wicked". I found it to be a captivating experience, even though the story started out a bit slow. Once the pace picked up, I was easily drawn into the evolving friendship between Elphaba and Galinda. Their dynamic was beautifully portrayed and added depth to the storyline.The music in "Wicked" is nothing short of fantastic. I especially loved the songs "Popular," "The Wizard and I," and "Defying Gravity." Having known most of the songs beforehand, actually seeing and hearing the characters bring them to life was an amazing experience. The performances were top-notch and added a whole new dimension to the music I already loved.Overall, "Wicked" is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys a powerful story of friendship, good-vs-evil, and so many other important themes, coupled with incredible music. It’s a magical journey that is both visually and audibly stunning.
