I needed a smaller wood holder to use by my new fire pit. This one was sturdy and very easy to assemble. It holds a lot of wood and has handy hooks for fire tools.

This is well made and easy to assemble. It is sturdy, even though I've stacked it high. This rack defintiely cleaned up the look of my fireplace.

The product comes with a clear set of instructions to assemble the components, so it's easy to put together in just 5-10 minutes. Once assembled, it sits level and feels sturdy for the small size. This log holder is very attractive and practical for an afternoon or evening's worth of small to medium sized logs, and the shelf is handy for separating kindling and smaller starter logs from larger/longer burning wood. Unfortunately, it had a lot of scratches; otherwise, it's a solid and useful addition to the fire pit area.

This nice-looking two-tier firewood stand is a nice addition to our fireplace or possibly our covered porch. I am not sure if I would want it out in the elements directly, but that is from experience with similar quality products. Indoors I expect it to last a a long time.This rack is easy to. put together, The instructions are above average, but only a few of the pieces are lettered.It is important tip when tightening up something like the shelves is to tighten corners in a kitty-corner pattern to get it most secure.Note: The packing on this package is not very robust, there is no cushioning material on any parts. Mine came without scratches, but that is something to be aware of.I would happily recommend this to Friends & Family

For most people, this rack probably holds enough firewood for an indoor fireplace to be used once or twice. For me, that's great. Our firewood is from trees we cut down on our own property and left outside to season for two years. This means that, unlike kiln-dried wood, there's a significant possibility that the wood could have little critters living inside of it. I have no interest in welcoming them into my home (or onto my patio, which is where we're using this for a fire pit), so as an indoor or near-the-house stand, I really only want to have enough wood for one usage and be done with it.It was not hard to put together at all. Hubby and I worked together and it took us around 10 minutes. As with most things, pay very close attention to the images to determine the left versus right. Also, we eventually guessed from the photos that the wire shelves have the wire to the bottom of the frame, rather than at the top, which is what I would have guessed.The only other thing I'll be watching for now is rust. We do have covered outdoor storage for winter, so it won't be sitting out directly in the elements, and that's probably pretty important for long term use. The black powder coating is good, but there are always weak spots where any furniture item is assembled, so offering it protection from winter weather is just a common-sense way to protect the investment.

I ordered this compact firewood rack for my front porch, because of it's small footprint and also because it has two tiers. I wanted to be able to use one shelf for larger firewood and the other for smaller wood and kindling during the fire burning season. Otherwise, it will be kept empty due to more recent requirements by homeowner's insurance companies to keep flammables away from structures.The rack is lightweight, but very sturdy in it's construction. It was easy to assemble with the hardware included in a short period of time. The flat black paint and classic design blends well with the exterior of the house. Overall it is a very useful addition in managing firewood for an interior fireplace.
