Provides that bit of protection against drops. The texture is soft and feels good in your hand. What I like the most is how precise the fit is. It's not lose at all and the buttons have a nice dip to them. A very premium feel. It comes with a lanyard but I didn't use it at all. Definitely buying another one!

First, keep in mind that this remote case/cover is specifically for the Google Tv Streamer. The remote looks similar to a Google Chromecast, but they are different. This case will only fit the Google TV Streamer remote.The case was easy to install, literally took about 10 seconds. The case has a good snug fit, and you do not need to compromise functionality with the cover installed (buttons still click and feel the same, all button cutouts are accurate).The pastel blue color goes well with the white (porcelain) button colors, and the cover has a good grip to it. Much better than the stock remote "slippery" feel. The silicone material has a soft feel to it, and is comfortable to hold.The remote also comes with a lanyard, which would come in handy if you move around with the remote a lot. My remote stays in the same spot all the time, so I won't be using the lanyard.Overall great case, I can't find anything negative to say about it!

Got this when we got our new Google TV Streamer. The bare remote itself is actually very slick and surprisingly slippery. This cover makes it much more manageable and will help protect it for the minor falls it might experience.

This cover fits the Google TV Streamer Remote perfectly. After stretching it to get the remote in, it stayed snugly fit, and the buttons fit through perfectly. The lanyard came with it, and I find it to be a nice little addition. You can choose to attach it or not since it comes separated. The case has a nice feel to it. It has little bumps to make it so it isn't slippery. I definitely recommend this as a cover to this specific remote.

This does what we need it to. Gives a better grip on what I consider a slick surface on the remote. Went on very easy. Nice texture on the bottom. The rubber seems a bit thin, so don't know how long it will last, but I like it for now.
