Pretty gosh darn adorable
I bought these for a friend's birthday, and an planning to plant some succulents in it. I wouldn't recommend these for anything other than succulents because the pots are suuuuuuper shallow - probably around 1" in height. The root systems of tropical houseplants would probably outgrow these in 2 weeks. The package came inside a normal Amazon box, but inside was actually another box. This box was comprised of 6 tiny compartments, each with the planters inside. All of my planters came whole and non-broken, as they're actually some sort of plastic material, and not ceramic. Props for being non-breakable, although I'm not sure I would buy these for $5 each if I came across them in a TJ Maxx or something. But as a gift, they're not bad. One note about the packaging - out of 6 separate tiny boxes, 3 of them had styrofoam above and below the planters, and 3 did not. Not sure where the inconsistency in packaging is coming from - directly from the manufacturers, or if some had been opened by someone else and returned? Nevertheless, they came whole. The planters have really small drainage holes that come with little plugs. One of the planters came with a VERY off-center drainage hole - it was basically right on the junction between the bottom of the planter and the side, so it's a bit visible from the side. Not a huge deal, but kinda ugly. Also, one of the planters came with a much smaller top opening (where the plant would go) than all of the other pots. Most of the planters had oval openings with min/max diameters around 2-3". This one planter (I think it was one of the corgi ones) had an opening that was no larger than 1.5" in diameter. I'm not sure that this one will be useful for planting anything, as even small succulent pups will outgrow it soon.Overall, I'd say that these are really cute as a novelty item. However, I wouldn't be running to buy these if you're planning on transferring your entire succulent collection into new planters. It might also be hard to transplant plants from these pots to other pots in the future when they grow larger, as the inner portion has some weird nooks and crannies (because of the shape of the animals) instead of just being a cylinder. So your root systems might be hard to pull out after a while. Luckily, succulents tend to have really shallow roots.

Terribly Painted!
The pots themselves are fine. It's the painting that is terrible. When you zoom in to the photo in the item description you can see that the painting is not perfect. If that is what I received I would have been okay with it. What I got looked it it was painted by a 4 year old. Seems the one doing it just slapped on the colors without caring about where each color ends.Could I fix this by repainting? 100% sure but I would expect them to sell it for much cheaper if it needed painting. You can't gift this to anyone but if you don't care about the painting, then the pots themselves are fine. There are a few shops selling the same items and I'm sure some of those may have better painting.

Great drainage, for decor.
For the price please manage expectations. The painting is like 90% accurate (not too much outside the lines, you can’t see defects from a distance). Very cute and plenty of root room inside the molding. All have a plastic drainage plug you can keep or remove. All came carefully packaged although 1 did break :( but out of 7 (I ordered a single additional one as well) that was pretty darn good. I recxomend for succulent plants to give as gifts!

Giftable
Only one thing that I dislike - uneven painting especially on the white paint. Otherwise they’re presentable and they also have holes on the bottom so this can pass as a planter for true indoor small plants. I only have faux plants on my work desk. I left out the panda (as obviously not dog family) still in its box.

They don't come with the plants
I bought these for my neice birthday who loves corgis. I picked up the plants at a nearby Lowes. These do not come with the plants. I want to buy another set for my daughter's teachers for teachers week. They are beautiful.

You get what you pay for here
These are great if you don't look at them up close. The painting is outside the lines on every piece. Appears as if a child maybe painted them. I almost returned them thinking that I just got a bad batch. Then I looked at the reviews.
