Easy to attach. Looks and feels like the Panasonic original at a fraction of the price. Gives the GH5 a more solid feel and is better to hold for video filming. Works well, automatically switching from camera battery to grip battery. Have discovered no negative points to date.

Good value and as described.Arrived quickly as well but after trying i changed mind and decided to retrun as i thought it would not be as useful as i thought.

Costing at least eight times less than the Panasonic original part, I was expecting a slightly dodgy version of the original. However, this thing looks good, feels solid and works fantastically well. For the price it's a total no-brainer. It's now permanently on my GH5 because it really improves my grip on the camera. It works completely as advertised.

I have large hands, and I put battery grips on all of my cameras. I find this Neewer one for my Panasonic to be well built and functions as designed to. As a larger handed guy, I find the grip comfortable and the battery life extension is something you are really going to appreciate! I find the Neewer one just as good as the Canon one I have on my other camera. Great product; less wonga!

I'm having serious issues with this unit.I am using official OEM Panasonic batteries, when my battery is low on just 1 or 2 bars and i take photos 1 in every 3 photos the screen will glitch out with tons of static and the shutter will make a shutter firing sound like a machine gun and the camera will only respond to a battery removal.This happens very often almost making the camera unuseable for pictures unless on full charge.If i take off the grip and put the same nearly dead like (20-30% battery) and put it directly in the camera it can shoot stills til it dies.This issue doesn't seem to affect video, when my battery dies it switches over no problem to the main camera battery.I am going to request this issue be resolved, if it does get resolved i will put 5 stars back up once i have my fully functioning grip.I am willing to send my grip back in as this is a brand new camera, brand , new batteries, brand new super fast official SD cards etc.I've heard nothing but praise for this grip so i assume this may be a fluke.Let's see how their customer service is.Jordan C.

This works PERFECTLY, and it is VASTLY cheaper than the official Panasonic battery grip. Highly recommended, and put that cash saving towards something fun! 🙂

Nice and solid grip for GH5. Haven’t tested it that much but it looks nice

Nice ergonomic shape, easy to fit and has all the buttons repeated from the main body of the gh5 in the same places as you would find them up top.Seems to be good quality and fits the same batteries as the camera.Haven’t had time to test the battery life but assume it would be the same as the camera however you are potentially double the batteries in use in the camera so the juries out...Good value for Money

About 1/6 the price of the official Panasonic grip. Good quality, but I feel like it's not quite as good as other neewer grips I have bought in the past. The battery door is a little loose and I wouldn't trust it to stay water tight in rain. The control stick isn't as nice as the one on the Panasonic. That being said, everything functions well.All said and done, I wouldn't buy the official Panasonic. A used copy would still be 3x the price as the neewer grip shipped to your house, and the benefits of the official grip are outweighed by the cost.

I ordered the grip for my GH5 on a whim, since it was way cheaper than the other brands on the market right now. I had been looking for a while and decided to try out this Neewer option instead of the others that run for over $300 and it arrived quickly and works perfectly. I have not put it through it's full paces yet, but it seems to function exactly how it should. It is well made and gives my camera a good feel in my hands now. Makes enough space to fit my pinky on now, and the settings allow for excellent battery life. This is a great little grip.
