Donโt go with the cheap plastic version
Donโt go with the cheap plastic version. Very nicely machined, works perfectly, and an absolute must for all Airstream owners. We have a 2022 Airstream.

Works great but not as pictured
I've read horror stories of getting locked out of an Airstream, so this is a useful device. It fits our 2023 Airstream Globetrotter but not as intended. It didn't come with instructions and I don't know if the picture in the listing is correct, but I found it fits over the lock slider and the base of the handle and accomplishes it's purpose (pictured).This disables the key lock (maybe not clear from the description) . But then we never use the key lock and only the deadbolt, so for our purposes it's great. It's a nice chunck of metal and I expect it will last. We got a set of two but only one is necessary and right or left are interchangeable with our type of lock.

You can never be too careful
So far I have never gotten locked out of my Airstream, but I know people who have.This little item makes it nearly impossible to get locked out.Worth every penny for peace of mind.
