Meguiar’s Air Re-Fresher Odor Fighting Spray, New Car Scent 8 Oz

This product really works. I transported someone who smokes. I used this product and it removed the scent.

Finally, a new car scent that actually smells like new car scent. I have been using Scent Bomb for years and like it, but doesn’t last. It has a close enough NCS, but not really there. I just got a new 2026 Tucson hybrid and the smell is so nice. Since I had to sell my BMW Z4, I’m now also sharing my wife’s 2015 Sonata Limited. She’s quite the piggy when it comes to her car. So I washed, waxed and cleaned interior. Had a whole grocery bag full of garbage. A good four hours. All I keep in my car is a plastic sandwich bag for registration and insurance card, a microfiber cloth, pen and pad, emergency battery charger and flashlight. All tucked away neatly. Anyway, I ordered the Meguiar’s air freshener and I compared it to the actual new car scent and it was spot on. I can’t comment on how long it will last since I just received it, but I’m love it. Highly recommended.

Recently, I had a very bad smell in my SUV. I torn the car apart looking for the culprit, even looking under the hood and vents for something that died and came up empty. I read reviews on the spray and gave it a shot. Well, I be damned, but this spray really worked! The spray has a unique scent - not amazing, but think of expensive perfume and then think of the knock-off brand - it's sort of like that, but of new car smell. I'm just happy the smell of death is no longer in my car. I gave it 4 stars because the scent is "different" - but not bad, just not what I expected.

I use it in my house before guests come over. It really gets rid of unwanted pet odors.

Smells great

Driving my rideshare shifts means I need my car smelling clean for every passenger so I am always testing new air fresheners. This spray definitely provides a strong and pleasant scent right after using it. However I do have to mention a noticeable issue with the ease of use because there is definitely some leakage from the nozzle. A little bit of the liquid gets on my fingers when I am spraying it which is really not good. The longevity is also a main drawback here. If you just spray it into the empty cabin air the smell will disappear in a few minutes. I found a quick workaround where if you lightly mist it onto floor mats or fabric surfaces the scent will actually stick around a little longer. While the smell itself is good I am just not a fan of the ingredients now that I realize how many chemicals are in it. Having those synthetic chemicals leak onto my hands made me rethink using it. I will definitely be switching to natural scents and pure essential oils after this. It offers fair value for money if you need a very fast odor fix but I would not recommend it for constant daily use.

Does not stay for longer. If you spray half a bottle in one go then it might go for a few days.

Smell is terrible. Kind of smells like burnt plastic. Would not recommend and im throwing mine in the bin biggest waste
