Columbia Men's Vertisol Trail Hiking Shoes

Very comfortable great fit.. columbia have become my go to for trainers

I’ve had these in use for a while now. They’re comfortable and have taken a lot of abuse. I’m not a professional hiker however I do around 5 miles a day in woodland in all weathers and they’ve not let me down.

On the everyday city use and I'm surprised how durable and good quality it is. Very comfortable for wide footed people and good cushioning. I work outside quite a lot but I did not put it through the mud test just now. You quickly realise this is not weather proof at all.

Great waterproof trainers.. Size a little big so had to insert in-soles now they fit well and are more comfortable. Dont know about duarability yet, but will see how they go. Nice looking colour and quite stylish. Not cheap but I feel worth the price.

These don't claim to be waterproof so just keep that in mind when you're buying them if you are looking for a hiking shoe. They're well constructed and I particularly like the front of them where they've got the rubber to protect toes poking out of the bottom of the canvas, a good shoe...

Very comfy but just had them so cannot say anymore.

Only had then short while and already peeling the base off - only used for urban walking didn't even get as far to trails/hiking

Perfect size, feel, quality and comfort

When I first unboxed these shoes, the immediate impression was clear: this isn't your traditional heavy-duty hiking boot. If you're searching for the rugged, overbuilt feel of classic trail footwear, you'll want to look elsewhere. These shoes feel distinctly more geared toward casual wear and light trail exploration than demanding backcountry treks. The most notable difference is the material construction. The upper is dominated by a highly breathable, meshy material—a departure from the thick leather or stiff, reinforced synthetic uppers found on true hiking workhorses. This design choice grants exceptional flexibility and airflow, making them wonderfully comfortable for all-day wear, especially in warmer conditions. However, this also means they lack the robust structure and ankle support needed for carrying heavy packs or navigating aggressive, rocky terrain. Wearing them is akin to putting on a slightly more supportive athletic shoe; they are wonderfully lightweight and require zero break-in time. For pavement, parks, and well-maintained dirt paths, they are perfect. But for anything that qualifies as heavy hiking, the material simply doesn't offer the durability or protection required. They are best suited for the walker who occasionally dips onto a gentle trail, valuing comfort and a sneaker-like feel over the sheer ruggedness of a traditional boot.

Comfortable shoes and affordable price

A falta de ver la durabilidad aunque ya es mas que otros muchos zapatos que he tenidos de marcas mas que conocidas, después de unos meses de uso, ya puedo decir que son cómodos, resisten bien el paso del tiempo, los he usado en verano y no me resultan calurosos y no resbalan. Verdad que en la cuestión estética no son los mas llamativos pero ya lo sabia cuando los compre así que a día de hoy, puedo decir con total tranquilidad que los volvería a comprar.

Scarpe promosse. Sono abbastanza tecniche per il trail running amatoriale e molto comode anche dopo diversi chilometri. Il materiale è traspirante e sono scarpe leggere che non affaticano la gamba. Purtroppo ho comprato un numero in più e per pigrizia non l'ho cambiate, ma risolvendo con un doppio calzino la calzata rimane comunque stabile. Approvate per chi cerca un buon compromesso tra città e sentiero.
