It's handy if you're in a hurry 👍.. mix the 2 solutions in a separate plastic bowl ( anything which u won't use again) and then apply to the hair. And if you have gray hair please keep it on for minimum 20-25 mins(on the instructions it says 10mins) I am giving 4 stars as I found the quantity very little (i have short hair)

I bought this with hesitance but I took the risk since it was prime. I have used the leading brand out there before with no complaints, this one is comparable. I like the fact that the mix is thick so If you have very short hair it won't pour out to your skin. Oh, It doesn't seem to stain your skin as the leading brand does, so for me thats a big plus. Covering grey hair wise is almost as good as dexe but with dexe If you leave it in your hair for 2 more minutes than you need it will stain your skin and is a hassle to take it out. This brand seems to be a bit weaker enough to don't stain your skin sacrificing few grey hair. My advice, safe a bit and right after you wash and dried your hair from the first application apply this again to cover those insurgent grey hair.Update Sept, 2018After using this for a month I still like it but definitely not as good as DEXE. The biggest PRO doesn't stain your skin BUT it doesn't cover all your grey hair so I would describe the color more as salt and pepper than pure black.Update Oct, 2018After using this a few times, I notice it wears off pretty fast. I am using a hair dye friendly shampoo and it last about one week before I need to reapply. Definitely not as good as dexe but it doesn't stain your skin which is great. Oh, a tip. Leave it on for 7min to get salt and pepper and 10min for black.

I have very short hair almost a crew cut but I do let it grow out longer then get it cut short again. I first put Vaseline around my hair line as it did give me chemical burns the first time and did not color my hair. The Second time it worked but considering how short my hair was I think anything longer would either take two times or two packages to work.It did not burn my scalp at all but my face did not like any of it on it at all. I had to use 1% Cortisone cream to take care of that part. Can't beat the price so I will use up what I have and may not get anymore will have to see on that one.

I love it. Easy to work with. I mix in a bowl so that I can empty package with two hands.

I'm not entirely sure if this product is 100% free from chemicals. Last year, I got allergic to regular hair dye and then this, and a year later I tried this again and it got the same exact reaction as I did with regular dye. I can't completely say this will be fine for you. If you are looking to dye, I would use henna. The product does work and got my hair to black.

This product is great. Easy to use and quick. Best results I've had from any hair color. Color lasts long. Would definitely recommend and order again.

It's kind of messy. Fast to apply, good results ..

This Hair Blackening Shampoo is pretty awful. I mean, it was a GREAT idea and really does work in five minutes, but the logistics weren't planned out properly. First of all, I needed to use 6 packets instead of the instructed 1, to just cover my roots. That's half the box. There's just way too little product in each packet. Secondly, you're supposed to squirt the combined dye and developer packet in one hand, and that just doesn't work. You need both hands to get it all out. Especially since the dye and developer are separated in the packet. Then you're supposed to mix the combo in your palm with your free hand - not easy to do and also spillage. All in all there were about 2 tablespoons of the product to apply to my hair. By this time, my bathroom was black! This is a TWO HAND job and a lousy product. After I did finally get all six packets in my hair (I could only do one by one), it did the job. Like a said, Great idea, not so great product. Go back and work out the logistics: more product per packet, small bowl, easier way to dispense since we only have 2 hands. I have to give you kudos, though, for the 5 minute dye job. That's a magical formula.
