This is a lovely solar lamp, the copper color is beautiful with just a touch of a weathered look. The light is lightweight and the cut outs are crisp and well done. Charging was easy and the light was strong resulting in beautiful patterns. Great for your own home or a gift.

This is litterally hands free. Its solar but as soon as i put it onto my table it lit up all by itself. And it's gorgeous. What a beautiful reflection of light to see as you walk by it. Ligts up with no effort. Hang it anywhere. Beautiful lawn decor but I bet it would make a wonderful gift. I love it!

This copper butterfly lantern is absolutely beautiful. I received the item promptly and it was very well packaged. Included in the box is the metal copper coloured main unit, a solar panel, a hanger and the instruction booklet.I put this outside the night I received it and it emitted a very bright light especially considering the fact it didn't have a full charge. As recommended, I am leaving it outside for about 10 days to get the battery up to capacity. At that point, after getting 6-8 hours of daylight, it should last up to 8-12 hours after dusk.The lantern measures 5.1"W x 6.7"H (11.5"H with handle installed). There is waterproof solar panel on top of the lantern which has an on/off button on the bottom so you just turn it on, remove the protective film covering the panel and put it out in direct sunlight. Depending on how you hang it, the butterfly pattern is projected across the bottom of the surface they are on.This is a sturdy, well priced and well designed product. It provides a beautiful ambience to your patio, lawn or garden and would also make a wonderful gift.

This worked right out of the box.The instructions said I'd have to charge it outside for 5 days first but when I looked closer, there is a button inside and I flipped it to ON and it lit up right away.This is so pretty that I'm considering hanging it in my back room at night.If you hang this low to the ground, the pattern that comes out the bottom (dragonflies) is smaller and more clear.But if you hang this higher, the light and patterns that come out all along the sides creates a very pretty although less clear image.This is a nice metal container that looks like it's painted to look like antique copper.The description says this is hard and durable and will not deform but mine has a Loonie sized dent in it right out of the box and appears to have been shipped that way. I can feel it when holding it BUT it doesn't negatively impact the light in anyway and I believe I'm the only one who will notice this.I wouldn't set this on a table as some of the nicest, clearest designs shine out of the bottom of this light.The opening at the top is large enough that I am considering using fake tea lights in here at times too.It's really a stunning light and will look beautiful inside or outside.Despit the flaw in mine, I'm still rating this as a 5 star item and believe the value is there for the price due to the multiple ways I can use this.

Wow. Very beautiful display. When sitting on a table or perhaps on a walkway, the light casts lovely butterfly and flowers images on the surface around it. If hung 6 or 8 feet above the ground the light is brighter and more widespread but of course the butterfly display isn't as distinct, but still very lovely.The lantern is made of metal painted in a distressed copper colour and comes with a wire handle/hanger. It took me a few minutes to find the on/off switch located under the solar panel. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the item, which looks just like the photo in the product listing. In fact I will be purchasing a couple more as gifts.

Beautiful dragon fly lantern for my patio table.I took it outside and let it charge us all day and it worked beautifully in the evening when it got dark. The lantern is a beautiful rusty orange color. There is a really nice dragonfly pattern around the entire lantern, which looks great when the light shines through.My only mistake when I ordered it is, I didn’t read the indications of what size it is. It’s on me, I put a standard can of Pringles next to it so you can see the size of it! It doesn’t bother me too much, it’s is really pretty.You can hook this onto a Shepard’s hook and place it in your garden, I haven’t tried that but it would be a nice option.This looks like a nice quality piece that will stand the test of time. Like anything of this delicate nature, I would definitely bring it in at the end of the day. I wouldn’t want water to pool or sit in it. It does say it’s waterproof, but they always last longer when you bring them in.The only reason I’m removing a star is for the price point. Yes, it’s a nice lantern but almost $35 CAN is too high for this product.I highly recommend this lantern, I think this would make a beautiful hostess gift or a nice gift for yourself!

This little lantern can be used inside your home or outside in a garden, along a pathway, or just outside your front door! The projection is very pretty and adds a really nice look to our backyard patio!I really like that the solar puck can be removed and placed on a window sill, as I’d like to have this inside our home during the winter months! It’s really pretty!The entire lantern is constructed of metal…the top looked like plastic but I can confirm it’s metal. The finish is really nice and should easily hold up to the elements. If I was planning on keeping this permanently outside I think I would give it a light coating with petroleum jelly just to ensure no rust sets in. The finish is good because it’s IP65 but I’d just want to make sure rust doesn’t start anywhere.This certainly would make a really nice gift for anyone really! Christmas gift, Mother’s or Father’s Day, birthdays, house warming, etc. I also thought these would look so nice at an outdoor wedding or as table toppers, which could become a wedding table gift by placing a winner tag under one of the chairs around each table! Anyways, great product and very unique design! Love it!
