Trouble & Triumph: A Novel of Power & Beauty

This was a nice sequel and a good book it keeps you guessing about what was going to happen next. The book picks up where it left off with Power getting kidnapped and Beauty watching it all happen. Beauty strikes a deal with Kato to save Power "If you get your people to save him I will marry you". Slim was still Slim in this book even though Irv helped him to a moment of clarity and he became "normal". But was short lived though the craziness came back and he went back to being the old him. You are I introduced to new characters and you find out what happen to Judy in this book. I liked the book but my only vice is the ending though I'm not sure if it will be a 3rd book because of the ending. It was like this is kinda the conclusion of the series but then due to what happen at the wedding, and Slim not getting what was owed to him I feel the ending was rushed. I'm rating this book a 3.5 because of the unsure ending and all the questions that this book left me with.

I LOVED THE BOOK! I read the 1st one also...I can't wait until the next one..I hope I won't have to wait long! It kept me interested through the whole thing...what will power do next?Is Beauty' s sister dead...??or is she one of the survivors..?And now that slim knows that power wasn't there at the time of the attack,what will he try next? Who will kill who.....oooh I can't wait!!! I Love U T.I

While I thoroughly enjoyed Power and Beauty, I actually liked this book better. I loved that there were so many different stories going on at the same time and they were all connected sensibly. I appreciated that there were none of the extensive clothing descriptions that were in Power and Beauty. They took away from the story. I also think the writing was better in this novel. There were twists and turns that I did not see coming. My only problem with this book was that there were several typos. It really distracted my attention from the story. Better editing needs to be done for future literary ventures. Overall, I loved it!

You HAVE TO read Power & Beauty first. You just have to because it will allow you to DESERVE Trouble & Triumph. This was an excellent surprise. I don't really know what I was expecting with the first book but it quickly grabbed my mind and took me on a roller coaster ride because both books offered a carrot on stick kind of excitement.

I absolutely loved Power & Beauty.. and I could say the same for Trouble & Triumph.. Only I didn't care for the ending.. I am happy that Power and Beauty lived happily ever after but I was looking forward to at least reading an epilogue or a chapter on their life together not the beginning of book one.. I really hope there will be another book but if not I'm still satisfied with the way everything turned out.. overall great book!!!

Couldn’t put it down but lost it about half way through on a vacation! 😭

I waited and waited for this book to come out and it was worth the wait! The only problem I had with this book was that I wasn't too thrilled with how it ended, with all the action and everything the characters went through I just expected the ending to be better. But I did enjoy the book.

I love this book so far. I am almost to the middle of the book in only 4 days. It picked up right off where Beauty & Power stopped. If you didn't read Beauty & Power you can still read this one. You will not be lost at all but I recommend both books highly!!!! I hope this continues!!!

Amazing! Loved every word. Power and beauty merge together and u want them to just join. Loved it. Loved it.

... ich schließe mich den Kritiken an. Erst wird seitenweise alles haarklein beschrieben (was nicht negativ zu bewerten ist), aber dann kommt das Ende in einer halben Seite! Ich hätte mir ein wenig mehr Hintergrundinformationen zu dem Treffen und dem Ende gewünscht. Ansonsten sind beide Bücher einfach zu lesen und verständlich (in englischer Sprache). Kein Buch mit dem man sich die Nächte um die Ohren schlägt, weil man nicht aufhören kann zu lesen, aber eine schöne Liebesgeschichte, die nicht gar zu kitschig ist.

tolles buch, habe das erste teil auch schon gelesen... ist echt toll...schnelle lieferung,tolle ware...auch als geschenk für T.I. fans wie ich oder für leser die nicht grade immer nur das langweilige schön geschriebene lesen möchten,sondern auch ein bisschen brutaler und so... haha... tolles Buch...

Way better than the previous installment and has a great ending which you won't want to miss.Highly recommended if you're a T.I. fan.Item was delivered in really excellent condition, in a few days.
