I love vital proteins Collagen powder.I switched to Marine Collagen because being a Muslim I can not consume the other non veg options so Marine Collagen I can safely consume.I add it to my coffee and although these do not give me as good results as the other Collagen powders by Vital Proteins but I trust the brand so I consume it for better bone and skin support.Taste is not bad in coffee and it dissolves well.I still have to see the long term use benefits

I cannot do bovine collagen, and this was my first attempt at marine. Extremely satisfied. Dissolves well in cold and room temperature beverages. No taste. I currently mix with matcha latte. Does not change flavor at all.

At $30 I expected more content considering the big container it was sent in. It fills up barely above half the container, and you need to use 3 whole tablespoons just to get ONE serving (out of 18 servings). Something about the packaging isn't adding up to the amount of portions included. Yes, there's a 20 serving version but you're literally paying more, not less per ounce that way. This powder doesn't have as much of a fishy taste or stinky smell as other powders I've tried, but it's very thick and granulated and takes much longer to dissolve. It also gives the drink a foamy texture. I'd like to say it's good if you want a tasteless, odorless collagen powder, but hard to gauge any other merits than that.

Very good product. Unflavored with no fishy taste/aftertaste. I don't use a full packet each time. One-quarter packet works fine for me, so I end up with 4 servings to one packet. Twenty packets to a box. Non-GMO Project Verified with symbol on front of the box; this way you know there were no bioengineered products added to the product. Product can be added to any drinkable liquid, stir, and drink. For me, I would add to juice, water, or a smoothie. Not sure if the Marine collagen would work well in hot beverages. Sits well with the stomach, the texture is finely ground so mixes smoothly, no chemical or lab-added ingredients. The collagen adds good protein to the body and helps to plump up the skin. As far as for pain relief, if the product is used on a daily basis, eventually the collagen begins to build up the tendons and ligaments and helps with cushioning the areas between the bones to provide some relief. I am not a doctor and I can only suggest what it has done for me regarding pain relief.

A little expensive but i do notice a different in my hair and skin when I use regularly. I feel as though it makes me feel fuller faster.

This proteins is great and easy to mix with my coffee.

Update: I can’t believe the container that used to be a QUARTER empty when I started taking it is now HALF empty! And the price has gone up CONSIDERABLY! I don’t have kitchen scales at home but feel like buying one just to measure the actual content without the weight of the container! I will not be buying this again and will cancel my Subscribe and Save. Unbelievably GREEDY I’ve been using this marine collagen for the last 2-3 yrs. Cant speak about the benefits for skin or hair but the nails definitely grow faster, which I dont really care about because I like my nails short. Now, Im very curious why 34 servings container has a different texture to it?? I bought it once, as it was cheaper than 18 servings, but it has a stronger smell and, while it completely dissolves in my coffee, it doesnt create that fluffy foaminess on top (like if you add a creamer) that I get with 18 servings? What’s the deal, Vital Proteins? So unreliable when it comes to quality, yet you keep increasing the price, and now we dont even get the spoon. You are already a number one sold brand, yet getting more and more greedier. On the side note, I wanted to warn the ladies buying this collagen at stores like TJmaxx. I bought two VP marine collagens last summer and after using them I experienced a very tense breast and frequent pain. Not just before and after my period (which I normally dont even experience), but daily. I almost went to the doctor but then, thank God, the pain subsided and now everything is back to normal. It lasted for about 2-3 months. So beware when buying at the discounted stores. Perhaps not all of them are bad, but those two I bought were abnormal.
