Absolutely love it 10/10 edc
Love this knife, my girlfriend got this for me for father's day, so I started using it as my everyday carry and fell in love with it. Im a knife guy and have several benchmade, protec, Joker, and spyderco knives. This knife replace the Osborne 940 for everyday carry. Has a good weight and for me the perfect blade length as well as width. The nitro v steel hold a great edge amd is easily resharpened. If you have ever sharpened s90v you know what im talking about its so much quicker and easier to hone a good working edge on nitro v. The bearing and deploy action is butter smooth and the super lock is soild. I have total faith in its ability to hold the blade safely and securely in place. There is absolutely zero blade wobble or play. It sits dead center and true when folded. Civivi has made a winner with this one. The g10 scales are grippy and i never feel like im going to lose control of the knife when using it even when wet the grip is superb. I give this knife a 10 out of 10 and hope they never discontinue it ever. Love this knife

Great design and outstanding quality make this knife a must-have!
This is my first CIVIVI, but I had heard a lot about the Vision online and had to try one. Boy, I'm glad I did! This is a terrific knife, very easy to open and close, and with a nice Nitro-V stainless blade and G-10 scales. The knife can be held a couple of ways. The grip is very secure, but my pinky feels on the edge, and the knife feels best in my hand - and most in control - when I use the front finger choil. I really like the Superlock and the knife drops quickly the moment I release it. I'm guessing it's on bearings. It's very impressive given the tight lockup on the blade. The fit and finish are really excellent - scary good, considering all the Spydercos I own. I happen to really like the handle design and the natural G-10, so this knife checks all the boxes for me except possibly the weight, which could be lighter by a bit. I now understand why this is a grail knife for many collectors, especially considering it is $100 less than my Smock with only slightly lesser quality blade steel and small differences in shape. I might have to get one in S35VN too! Easy 5 Stars.

Buy it twice
Going to get another- previous one wore out after heavy use, wish the blade steel was something of the 3v-m4-s90 variety but was otherwise great. Superlock cam and spring have worn weak and do not engage even now

Tip bent on a cotton shirt?!?!?!?
Ok, first of all, I love this knife so much. The feel and fidgeting is probably the best of any knife I ever used. The snecx super lock is now the greatest lock in my opinion. You know it's a great knife when throughout the day, I get urges to flick it out. Civivi, please please make more superlock knives with different blade shapes and BETTER STEEL. Ok, here is why I gave it 3 stars and it broke my heart. I have had this for 2 weeks, only cut 2ft of cardboard and sliced a piece of paper. I was flipping it open and closed and when it was closing, it hit my sleeve of a COTTON shirt. I looked at the blade and saw a piece of lint and went to pull it off and saw, to my horror, the tip of the blade was badly bent!!!! How can a cotton shirt bend a steel blade?!?! I was cloing the knife completely normally when this happened. How, just how does soft cotton bend a blade? I use utility knifes a lot and this wont even happen on disposable utility knife blades. Is this steel really that soft or is this a fluke? Bad steel? Bad heat treat? This really broke my heart because I already fell in love with this knife. Is Nitro Steel really that bad?!?! I saw on Civivi website there is an S35vn model for over double the price.... I may have to do this since I just love the mechanism so much. Still, I am very sad about this happening. I was about to buy 3 variations of this knife in Nitro before this happened. I wanted this to be my edc for life. Now I'm not sure what to do. Do I return this and try again? Or do I spend over double and get the S35vn version? Civivi, can you reply to me, is this notmal or do you think mine has a defect? I really was about to recommend this knife to every person I know but now I cannot. Not sure what to do, help!!!!!

Best Fidget Folder with Two Caveats
For me, the action on this thing easily beats a crossbar lock knife and also button lock knives. It has a perfect flowy detent. There is hardly any lock stick. The closing action is buttery smooth. Near the end of the action the detent sucks it closed so it does not bounce back open. It feels similar to a crossbar lock knife but it SOUNDS totally different; the sound is what really gets me. Disengaging the Superlock has a very mechanical sound. When you open it with the thumb studs it makes a weird futuristic sound that I can't describe but it sounds so cool. Even the lock up and detent sound great. My video does not do it justice. This knife has three big advantages over a crossbar lock knife: lock strength, longevity, and maintenance. You can spine wack the heck out of it and the lock will never fail; it would have to move so much to disengage but the coil spring is always pushing it in place. There are no omega springs so you can open and close it as much as you want and you don't have to worry about broken springs. Cleaning is super easy; no tricky mechanisms to spend forever fiddling with. Aside from the wonderful action and other benefits of the Superlock, the knife is what I expect from Civivi; good machining, nice g10, and decent steel with slicy geometry. The ergonomics are fine for me; you'd think the lock would get in the way but you actually just use it as a thumb rest or if you choke up then you don't feel it. While this knife is fantastic it does have one or two real downsides. The Superlock is physically painful when you fidget for a few minutes. When you use your fingers to pull down on the lock you are pressing on a 90 degree angle. It has been rounded, but it still hurts after a bit. You can position your finger to make it hurt less but it's still annoying. If you have tough skin, literally or figuratively, then it may not bother you very much. The other downside is that the clip sticks out way too much and can hook onto things. This can pull the knife out of your pocket and/or bend and ruin the clip. With two pliers and a cloth you can pretty easily bend the clip into a corrected shape without damaging anything; remove the clip first. Pros: The sound and feel of the action is hard to beat at any price. Very strong lock. Passes the spine wack test effortlessly. No omega springs. Easy disassembly and reassembly. Civivi quality. Cons: Superlock is physically painful when fidgeting. Clip sticks out too much. Easily fixable with pliers and a cloth. Not a good choice if you want an ultralight knife. Unlike other Civivis, there is some writing on the blade - "DESIGN BY SNECX"
