Love the combat
I am 79 years old and have been gaming since it was invented. Love this game and ship to ship combat. Blackfkag has a better story but combat and ship building is great in S&Bs.

Dreadful
This is honestly one of the worst modern games I've ever seen. I'm only about 20 hours in, so quite near the start...I keep waiting for it to get better, but so far it hasn't. First up, the character and graphic style is very amateurish for a 3-A game. Character movement is very stilted, and the dialog is silly. The plot doesn't seem to make any sense yet either...not so much the main one, but the sub-plots to get you along the way. Take the opening scene - you're sailing along, get involved in a battle, get crushed, and then find your way to a pirate den based on the ability to create a sailboat from a wrecked pirate ship. If you can do that, you don't need to be a pirate, you can make a fortune as a ship builder...never-mind, on with the silliness. As soon as you land, someone who you've never seen before tells you they've decided to be your first mate, and then you're directed to a dude who just gives you a ship cos you're a good guy... Sheesh, how long did they spend thinking that up? The pirate village itself makes no sense and was lazily put together...really just a collection of merchants with no reason for the village to exist. On to the sailing dynamics. This is an age of sail / pirate game from a top studio. You'd think this would be good, especially with all the AC4 experience to draw on.... I know, I know, it's a semi fantasy game and not supposed to be a sailing sim...but it feels like the sailing dynamics were designed by someone who was aware of the concept of boats, but had never actually seen one, and [at least for me] the controls were oddly unresponsive - a command to change sail sometimes took 3-4 hits of the buttons to get a reaction from the system. Ship combat is similarly bad - you have two broadsides and some chase guns on the ship, but can somehow fire in a ~270 degree arc without having to maneuver the boat. Overall, this is poorly thought-out nonsense, a silly plot, bad dynamics and lazy product management. It's been years since I disliked a game so completely and not because it wasn't for me, but because it was badly created. Save yourself some time and money and go play something else....

Horrible
Vraiment décevant comme jeux plein de bug, je ne payerais pas plus que 29$ pour cela ont dirais que ce jeux a été fait à la hâte. N’est pas dutout a l’image de ce qu’on pourrais s’attendre d’un jeux Ubisoft
