2.5 cc / 1/2 Teaspoon/ 2.5mL Measuring Scoops (10)

I eat spicy pepper flakes in my food daily, and I wanted to start measuring my dosage for my new diet. I eat half a teaspoon of Ghost Pepper flakes, so I wanted multiple half-teaspoon measurers. I found these scoops and liked them because they have long handles, so I don't have to worry about spreading the pepper flakes to my fingers. I tested them with two of my old 1 teaspoon measurers and a couple of new 1/4 and 1/8 teaspoon measurers and found the 1/2 teaspoon measurers to be accurate as to the two 1 teaspoon measurers. They are made of clear plastic and don't have volume stamps, or anything to indicate that they measure 1/2 teaspoon. There is a mould line in the middle of the scoop. Is that from making the measurer, or is it supposed to be measuring 1/4 teaspoon? The device doesn't indicate. Also, I wish I could have found some of these that were metal, but then they would probably have been more expensive. 3.5/5 stars

Regardless of liquid or powder, you can't really get everything out of it. Powders, like cinnamon, got stuck in the bottom edge, and I lost half of the liquids I measured, like vanilla extract, because half of it just wouldn't come out. The liquid clung to the sides and bottom.I ended up using them to measure other things that just needed approximations.

Too difficult to get powder in it. They are super small. But accurate based on scale amount, amazing how hard it is to find accurate scoops.

Item comes as described. Portable and easy to clean.

Does exactly what I needed

Now I can have a measuring spoon in all my frequently used spices, baking powder, salt, etc. no more washing measuring spoons!
