This stuff is amazing!! I can’t believe that I stuck with the Sencheu peel off stain for so long. (Luckily, I payed for it with a gift card). It never really left color. Now this, is a completely different story! Wow, the color is elelctric! I tried it on before i went to bed. I blotted quite a bit before going to bed and I woke up with color on my lips!! Pretty incredible. I love the texture, it’s quite hydrating. I don’t have to leave it on long at all! I guess I’m used to my other “stains” wearing off, so this is just a big wake-call of color. I got the berry one. It’s a bit more pink/bluish red than a true red. I think my next one will be a more muted color. This stuff is great!

Instant favorite, I want to put this on all the time! I usually dislike lipgloss, and bought this because I wanted a stain that didn't feel as dry as some do. But the gloss is also fantastic -- it doesn't have that sticky feel, it doesn't attract hair, and it feels so incredibly hydrating from the minute I put it on. It does very slightly feather into my vertical wrinkles around my mouth (they are fairly deep, since I'm nearly fifty and smoked most of my life), but nothing near as much as other glossy lipsticks and glosses, and I have to really examine myself up close to even notice. If I wipe off the gloss after ten minutes to just wear the stain, it doesn't look like it went into those lines at all. The stain lasts me about 8 hours (depending on what I eat -- greasy things will ofc remove it faster), but I honestly want to reapply the gloss at that point anyway. It also comes off evenly -- I haven't had the issue of color staying bright and solid all around my lips, but being gone in the middle. The smell (and taste) is similar to coconut oil -- faint coconut, and very "natural" -- not the cloying fake coconut smell you get in some cosmetics. With its being so hydrating (I feel it work better than most of my lip care products, including the famous LaNeige lip sleeping mask -- and yeah, I tried putting it on before bed, and the glossy look and hydrating feeling were still there the next morning), and so versatile, I think this is about the best value for your money you can get. Small downside: the color swatches don't feel super accurate -- even those where they show all colors on different skin tones. I expected this to be a bit more muted and more pink, and instead this color ended up being bright red, like a true bright red lip, which is a bit less wearable. The stain is fine, but also veers red. I have pale olive skin, and my lips aren't very naturally colored, so any stain definitely shows up bright, and that's fine, but a red lip isn't always the best choice for a daytime look, so I wish the name and the swatches would be a little more accurate. I will be buying more colors, though, cause I love it just that much.

Update: a couple days of use and the pigment separated and somehow came out, maybe through pressure and made a got all over my sink. But it still works the same, slightly less pigment. Almost like oil on water separation. Other than that I would still purchase it but it was odd I’m impressed; an affordable lipstick that fades nicely and doesn’t smell overly artificial and sweet. It lasted only a couple hours before fading, leaving my lip slightly unevenly coated when it did fade. However, I used bubblegum shade so it wasn’t noticeable. If it were a darker shade it might not be as flattering. The scent is very light. Only the faintness of coconut. It also was not sticky and instead felt like a nice lip balm on. It wasn’t too glossy either. I don’t think this lighter shade stained as much as I thought. I might try a darker shade to determine.

I got it in Hydra Honey, and honey let me tell you...it stains beautifully! I bought this primarily for it's staining abilities and could not be happier. The product feels nice on my lips, and it actually seems to have a cooling sensation...not a tingle, just cool. Not sure if that's just a me thing, but it is nice. It isn't a color I would wear right out of the tube right now, but maybe in the fall/winter. The stain is a very pretty shade for me and looks a lot like my actual lip color, just a few shades darker. LOVE!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! I have Sjogrens so I really struggle with dry lips. I need good lipgloss or chapstick that will last, but not feel gunky otherwise my lips are a dry mess. I also struggle with really pale lips related to some health issues and like to camouflage it a bit. This gloss has been a godsend at solving both of these problems—giving me additional options for my dry lip toolkit. I usually use Poppy and Pout chapstick or Jones Road Lip Recharge. Both are excellent and highly recommended but lack color when I really need help hiding my illness from tattling on me with my natural lip color. This lip staining gloss feels good, doesn’t dry out my lips AND lasts a long time. Finally! Found my pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Pros: doesn’t get sticky or gummy. The gloss sensation stays on a long time (several hours for me, which is great for one application). When that ends, a nice, toned down stain is left over that does not transfer. I can easily use my lip recharge or poppy and pout chapstick over the stain without issue. The stain does fade with time, but lasts well over 12 hours for me. Cons: you may need to play with the colors a bit. My first choice wasn’t quite what I was looking for—not bad, just not what I was needing. Luckily, the price is really nice so it isn’t a deal breaker to buy a couple shades.

This was disappointing. I wanted to love this lip stain. It was pretty when I used it, but long lasting it is not. It didn't last much more than 10 minutes. The color was very nice, The applicator very user friendly, but it was NOT long lasting. Would love to see this product revamped and actually be long lasting.

I’m really impressed with this lip stain! I got the NYX Lip IV in Magenta Mist this week and have already worn it two days in a row. It goes on incredibly smooth and is not sticky at all. I like to apply it, leave it on for about 2 minutes, and then wipe off the gloss so I’m left with the stain. You can also leave it glossy, so it’s basically two looks in one. What surprised me most was the staying power. The stain lasted about 6 hours on me, including through eating, drinking, kissing, without constantly needing to reapply. I work in a busy administrative role, so anything that saves me from checking and reapplying my lip color throughout the day is a win! My lips also feel soft and lightweight rather than coated or heavy like some glosses and lip products can feel. Coverage is phenomenal. The photo is the actual product I received. I absolutely love it and will definitely be trying more shades. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I got shade splash n spice and the gloss color is not good on me lol it’s too brown for my skin tone. But I really like the stain it leaves behind! It’s a natural, neutral pink. I find many stains are too bright but this one is very subtle and perfect for everyday. It’s a tiny bit sticky after you wipe the gloss off but it goes away and feels very comfortable on the lips. I put lip balm on top of it. I left the gloss on for about 15 mins before wiping it off.

Great lip stain without the dryness! Feels silky smooth and not sticky on the lips, will be trying other colours, this one was a a nice neutral even though it looks dark- it’s not

Love the colour, love the feeling on my lips. Very moisturizing. Smells awesome.

Drippin rose i really like this lip product it feels nice and moisturising and it is long lasting stains your lips and also it doesn't transfer onto a cup when drinking tea etc. Best lip product ive had in years ive just ordered another shade as I love it so much

This is a beautiful lip gloss/stain. If you want a more intense colour you can wear as a lip gloss, and if you want less colour or more of a lip stain look you can blot the colour until you’re happy with the result. I want to try other colours too.
