I'm always cold. Every season I'm under a blanket. As I've gotten older I find I'm usually under an afghan or fleece blanket, and still cold. Night-time is the worst for some reason. My husband gave me an electric throw one year for Christmas and it's been perfect. I've been taking it back and forth between the den and bedroom so I decided to get this one for our den. It's great! Great color that matches our decor, the two layers of silky faux fur fabric adds to its warmth, and the adjustable heat levels and auto shut off are good as well. It's a lap blanket, not a full blanket, so it's not head to toe. It's great for throwing around the shoulders and back, or on the feet and legs. I use it when watching TV, reading, or taking an afternoon nap in the recliner. I can even curl up and get my whole self under it and I'm 5'7." Even my husband, the furnace, likes to throw this blanket over him...he likes the soft fur feel of it. There was no shedding from the fabric on furniture or clothing, nor any odd smell when I took it out of the package. Because it's 2 layers and both are fur like, it's got a bit more weight to it, and it feels good and warm even when it's not turned on. I've been using this for a while now and the fabric hasn't pilled or clumped the way some fleece does. It looks and feels just as it did out of the package. I highly recommend this blanket and am considering buying more for our guest rooms and as gifts.

I've used this blanket the entire winter and it never failed me. I love the adjustable settings and it is so soft and cozy. It gets really hot at the highest setting and that's not a compliant because I was concerned that it would not get warm enough since this is my first heated blanket and i really didnt know what to expect. Very good price for this quality.

This blanket heats up way faster than I expected and the different heat settings give you enough range to find exactly what you want. The full size covers the bed well and the material is soft and comfortable to sleep under. The timer feature is useful so it does not run all night. After several months of use and many washes it still works perfectly and has not developed any hot spots or cold areas. Good quality heated blanket at a fair price.

Twin 1 controller. In photo note that I'd put touch of white paint to on/off just so I'd find it in dark - by visual & feel even tho the 4 buttons have a bit of feel to them. Just my old white controller used easy dial So far though finding this set & forget until turn off even tho controller is dark black. Heck hardly aware of it when off. My old heavier electric blanket used a large power plug. Now no heavy brick, yet controller at least on low temp setting like 2 or 3 of the 1 to 6 levels doesn't get hot or even warm. Seems some reviewers of these things to report the controller getting excessive hot and/or blanket way too hot even on lows. After too many years oldie began to barely warm at its usual temp. Jacked up much higher & barely any diff. Read bunch of reviews all over place. Back here I still wasn't too sure except for what NOT to accept. China brand name Texciting sort of grabbed me, less Chinese than most of these low cost ones. Arrived 2 day prime, well packed plastic see-thru zipper bag. I had chosen Amazon box too just in case. Soft fabric but that means there's a bit of a wire awareness if one is really really annoyed. However does not bother me in slightest as wires as few & widely distributed -- just don't know they are there. Course wires never bothered me on double thicker old one. The much lighter weight makes me even less aware of the beast. Pretty instant heat even set level 3 (of 6) temp so no need for the expensive models w/ all the "wonders" of pre-heat. I reduced from default 3 to a 2, the warmth is end to end. My failing one was only a touch warm right in middle so knew it was doomed. Fabric is just right, bit of a design pattern on top side, smooth on body side. Got light tan color. Must unplug from wall BEFORE unsnapping blanket from cord or controller will flash as warning until you resnap it and replug in power. Read the attached manual for some helpful Q&A. Delivery prime 2 day timely & had a 10% discount coupon. Being near Man'h harbor now 60 days & 40 nights and landlord giving no heat, this will certainly knock off the night time edge. Controller is the round black kind with both cords attached to same side. Pre-set to 3 Temp and H (10 hr auto shut). Lengths on cords also plenty long esp run to blanket itself & really snaps in tight. Just glad didn't get a lemon type nightmare given the low cost.

It's very soft and it keeps you warm

This blanket is one of my most used and treasured possessions. I'm always cold but not anymore. It's the perfect size for my 5'3 body. Warms up quickly and the timer is a great feature. I use it everyday. Not very heavy or suffocating. Been using it for months with no issues. Smells and looks like a blanket, nothing to write home about. Happy customer!

I want to first begin saying that I’m pretty satisfied overall with this blanket. We had a harsh, frigid winter this year, & I needed a little extra help in the back bedroom. The flow of heat isn’t the greatest in that room & it was getting very cold at night. I burn up very easily, so I wanted a blanket that had control options. I got a little bit smaller size on purpose. That being said, this 50x60 is most definitely a one person blanket. I do really like the texture of the blanket itself. I even use the blanket some on my feet when it’s not plugged in. Now to its features. This blanket thankfullllly did not have an odor. Heated blankets in the pass is why I have not owned one in years, due to their odor/smell. Not a problem at all with this one! It easily plugs in to your standard outlet or even extension cord. Takes a little bit for it to warm up. You do have heating levels up to 9. However, I really thought on that highest level this blanket would be warmer than it gets. For someone who burns up very easily, not that big of a problem. I just needed a little extra heat to compensate for this ridiculous weather. But if you are really searching a blanket that will keep you toasty warm, this may not be the blanket you want to purchase. I do like you can choose on the control how long you would like it to stay on, ranging in 2 hour increments from 2-10 hours. I’ve not noticed any shedding thankfully. Overall I feel it is a good designed blanket, from ease of use, to the two sided material it’s made of (kind of Sherpa on underside & nice soft almost microfiber texture on front side). I will say even though this blanket doesn’t get as warm as I thought it should, it did provide some extra warmth to the frigid nights, giving me much better quality of sleep. I feel like for one person in a bed or for a comfy snuggle blanket for the living room, this blanket was worth the price I paid for it.

I bought this as a gift and it was a big hit. They said it's really soft, heats up quickly, and keeps them nice and warm. So far they haven't had any issues with it and have been very happy with it. I'd definitely buy it again as a gift.

La cobija esta muy bonita, pero no promote el nivel de calor que dice. Lo pusé en el maximo por bastantes horas y me seguia muriendo de frio.

These are so warm and so comfortable. It is so cold in my apartment even when the heat is cranked this time of the year, so I got one for my bed and one for on my sofa, and I got home from work yesterday to find the box at my door because my neighbours pick them up for me and take them up to my apartment and I plugged in the one for the sofa which was the green one and oh my gosh it was like being in heaven. It warmed me up so quickly and then the purple one is on my bed and when it was a bit cold during the night, I turned it on and it felt so good. I love love love love these.
