This pack is awesome! Very lightweight and easy to adjust on your chest! Great for hiking and climbing. Great wilderness pack. I took this pack on my first 14er Mountain Hike in Colorado and great for having small pieces of gear in the front when you need it.

I love the idea of a chest rig I can wear while running or hiking. The straps are comfortable with a decent amount if adjust-ability. The pocket just barely holds a glock 19 with an extra mag and a headlamp. Anything more and you rapidly loose accessibility to your firearm. I am very disappointed in the zipper quality. On my first big hike the zipper on the small pocket jamed shut and both big zippers broke teeth and fell off. This would be a 4.5 star product with higher quality more durable zippers.

Overall, this is Okay as a field holster/ pack. First of all, It’s not made of durable military grade materials. The pouch is constructed of “Walmart thin” nylon and the straps are not exactly quality either. They just are not sturdy or firm in their stretch. Again, they seem to be of low quality and I do not expect them to last many years before they ‘stretch out’ and lose their elasticity altogether. But despite these shortcomings, it’s constructed decently enough for an inexpensive pack for field carry of a fire + arm, keys and an ID. It is not big enough to carry a wallet if you are also toting those first 2 items I mentioned in the last sentence, but you can fit in an ID. Otherwise, things become too bulky and withdrawing your fire + arm quickly and in an unhindered manner becomes very challenging. The ‘ride’ on my belly was uncomfortable. So I had to draw the straps all the way in to pull it up higher on my actual chest (rib cage). That significantly improved the comfort and I hardly noticed that it was there once my hike began. I bought this pack because I had nowhere to place my “🔥 arm” when wearing either a 15 liter day pack or a full 65 liter back pack. Both of those require belt straps and there is nowhere to comfortably wear a holster. Depending on your primary pack, you might have a conflict with the chest straps from your primary and wearing this on your chest. But I do not recommend wearing this mini pack on your belly. That will be very uncomfortable. All in all, I think that for the $$, this is as good a buy as you will find. And if it wears out in 3 years, just buy a new one. It’s not so expensive that you’ll be disappointed. And despite the inferior construction, it looks good, it’s light weight, and when riding high up on your chest, it’s relatively comfortable. It is also easy to quick draw if you have the zippers slightly open and properly prepositioned ahead of time. The Velcro strap inside allows you to place your ‘🔥 arm’ at an angle so that the pull from the holster is quick and easy. I really like this feature and the flexibility of being able to carry many different makes and models is very appealing. That’s it! If you want durable military field grade, keep looking. But if you just need something to carry your keys, an ID and a fire + arm this is a good choice. It’s not great. It’s not Quality… but it’s really not bad. You’re not going to be upset spending $34 on this.
