Q: Does this work with 1-1/2-Inch by 18 Gauge 5/16-Inch Crown Staples?

Nails ranging from 3/8” – 2” and Staples ranging from ½” to 1-5/8.

Q: Does it work with staples that the width less then 1/4-inch? like 5 mm width. (1/4-inch = 6.3 mm) or only exactly 1/4-inch width staples

As long as the nails fit in to the railing or nail housing, it should work. I have used it to nail half inch board and some 4 by 4 pices to a wood frame and it worked like a champ. Also, cut a dry wall and made a 2.5 ' by 1.5' door frame using this nail gun. I used 1 to 2" nails in my project. This is a very handy nail gun with excellent price. Even if did couple of projects with it, you got the money back.

I purchased the California Air Tools CAT-6310 Ultra Quiet and Oil-Free 1.0 Hp 6.3-Gallon Steel Tank Air Compressor. I had to replace my previous air compressor and it was loud, like most air compressors. I saw a video on the California Air Tools and I was sold. My air compressor is so quiet, I can keep it in the room I am working in. Produces the air pressure I need do complete my jobs.
