This is it!
After an early demise of my kitchen aid K400 (absolute garbage), I did a little sleuthing and came across strong recommendations for the Chefman Obliterator. I saw a black friday sale and decided to pull the trigger - for $50, I couldn't really go wrong. Wow. This blender is incredible. It's quiet, powders dry ingredients and purees wet things very quickly, and is super easy to use and clean. It does everything better than the kitchen aid while costing a fraction of the price. I'm super impressed. The only drawbacks are that there is no off switch, so it has some constant power draw when plugged in, and if you overfill the lid will leak a little. But the latter is probably by design so hot ingredients don't build up pressure when blending, and easily avoided. We'll see how long it lasts, but even if I get two years it will have lasted longer than the Kitchen Aid for far less cost.

Unpleasantly loud, but otherwise fantastic blender for a reasonable price
Okay, first of all - other reviews I saw said it was loud, but I wasn't clear if it was just loud the way most blenders are or not. Nah, this thing is LOUD loud, even for a blender. Our cats aren't even scared of the vacuum cleaner, but they're hiding under the bed when this blender comes on. That said - I am picky about my blenders. If I'm going to make a smoothie, I want it SMOOTH. No chunks of frozen fruit, no carrot mulch or shredded leaf texture. For the price (purchased on sale for under $60), this one delivers great. Small seeds (such as raspberry seeds) don't get ground up 100% of the time, but I've made several thick smoothies with ingredients such as whole frozen strawberries, raw carrots, and spinach leaves, and they've come out with a pleasant and uniform texture. I appreciate that it comes with a tamping stick to push ingredients down while it's running, and that all the pieces that touch food are dishwasher safe - although I haven't even had to put it in the dishwasher so far, because it also has a dedicated cleaning cycle on the blender itself. You put a bit of soap and water in and let it run, and it usually just needs a rinse. Comes clean nice and easily as long as you wash it before things dry on. I'm very happy with this overall!

WOW worth every penny and more. this is an iced coffee making powerhouse! Really well made unit.
I'm in love with this blender! I like to make blended iced coffee drink,s and I had a Ninja blender that lasted me a year, then the motor burned out, right when the warranty was up! But it did blend the ice really fine. Then I didn't want to spend a ton on a new one, so I got a Hamilton Beach, and while yes, it has a nice glass container, that thing can't blend ice worth beans. I was left with big chunks, and the blender container came undone from the blade, and I had ice and coffee all over the place, including in the machine. That was it. So I really did my research and came across this Chefman Obliterator, and oh wow. It makes ice drinks just like the coffee joints do! I love it!. It's also really well made. The base unit is really heavy, and the container fits in it nicely; there's no screwing or having to turn it just the right way. It takes 15 seconds to grind my ice really fine for the drink, and I'm so happy. I never have chunks in my drink now. It's worth every penny. Honestly, it seems like a high-end unit you would find in a coffee/drink shop.

Do not buy.
Great blender until it just decides to stop turning the blades ... So now it's expensive garbage. Within months this blender stopped functioning. The spinning mechanism on the base does not turn the blades at all anymore.

Great Buy
I never write reviews, but I have been so impressed with the affordable Chefman Obliterator that I really wanted to let customers know they will have spent their money wisely by purchasing this blender. It is relatively quiet, blends smoothly, and looks good on the countertop. This blender works great for my needs, which is mainly making hummus and smoothies.

Awesome blender... while it works.
Updated and changed from 2 to 4 stars. Chefman sent a new blender to me after filling out the warranty claim. It still took a month or two to get resolution. The new version has more metal gears instead of plastic, so it looks like they learned their lesson on that. Original review. Worked well for 6 months. Blended smoothies, soups, shakes, peanut butter and anything else with ease. Then making a smoothie one morning the blade totally stopped. Similar to other folks, the main gear is plastic and cracked on both sides. I have submitted a claim with Chefman and will see the response. Pending resolution I'll update my review.

Power!
Quite a beast! Simple, attractive look with a powerful motor that has conquered everything so far. Heavier than others, reasonably quiet. I like it a lot.

Pleased with the blender
I bought the blender back in February of 2025 and just now leaving a review in October of 2025. I wanted to get a few rounds out of it with different things before leaving my review. Anyways, I’ve used this mostly for smoothies and very often at that. It works great! Watermelon juice does well in the blender too. I did my first nut butter today in it using 3 ups of mixed nuts that took about 30-45 minutes between using the pulse feature and the 1-2 level features. The auto blend feature just didn’t work for that type of substance which I was fine with. I have patience and it brought me joy to make it. It worked well. The auto clean feature I was not thrilled about, you need more water than soap for what the instructions say (lesson learned). I was also fine with hand washing this item, but it can be washed in the dishwasher. The device is a little loud but nothing that anyone can’t handle when you’re going to Juice spots like Jamba Juice. I’m looking forward to doing more especially soups/purées in this.
