I have it plugged into a WiFi power outlet having it turn on and off based on current sunrise/sunset time. They were pretty easy to put together, just wish I could have the lights higher as the plants and also when they flower can get pretty long and floriferous and would like to avoid damage of any kind. I didn’t end up using these on my Cattleyas at first because I thought my south-facing windows would be sufficient and placed my Polychilos-Phalaenopsis and Oncidium Tsiku Marguerite orchids under these lights instead on a nightstand table. It’s been a few months now and my plants have been getting new root and leaf growth and also flower spikes. Even my Phal. bellina that was in a standstill state is growing a new leaf. These lights don’t get too hot but a slight warmth with any lightbulb which many warm growing plants would prefer. Now I’ve recently placed the Cattleyas on the table too and I do mist and spray the orchids and the potting medium which I do think helps. I do not have a big collection of orchids, but these are really good for a small table amount of plants. Review: This product was easy to use. The quality is great and being able to adjust height helps keep plants covered by the light. Great price. Definitely will buying more as we grow out planting space.

The light itself is nice and bright. It’s much shorter than I thought it was going to be. The legs are super flimsy and it barely stands up on its own. Just got it out of the box and set up and one of the legs won’t stay locked where it’s supposed to be. I’m sure I can figure out a use for it, but I’m disappointed.

Munich came with one of the light bulbs broken. I called in the quickly replaced it without any hassle. The lights are bright and it works well but you have to be careful because it is easy to tip over. So far all the plants underneath it are very happy.
