Fiskars Ergo Cultivator for Digging, Aerating Soil, and Weeding, Heavy Duty Garden Tool with Hanging Hole

This is awesome! Great quality, sturdy, easy to use, multi-use. It gathers leaves and other debris, and it helps pull surface weeds and moss. Definitely money well spent!

This isn't one of those cheap plastic tools - the prongs are metal and hold up to all the gardening I can put them through. It is the perfect size to use in all of my flower beds and makes weeding so much easier! I have zero complaints about the sharpness or really this tool overall - it really is a great, valuable tool for the garden!

This is a durable and ergonomic garden tool. Our last hand cultivator tool was from the local home improvement store and broke because the outer tines were welded to the center tine and failed at the weld point. For this tool the 3 tines are all one piece of metal. I have used this Fiskars cultivator extensively the last month to rake aside 1.5” landscaping rocks and it has held up to punishment that would have broken a half dozen of the last cultivator we owned. Note, it appears that the design has changed a little bit from what’s in the product photo. The new design is even better FYI. If you look in my photos the bottom side of the handle now has a little hook at the end where your pinky sits. I’ve found that when I pull back during my raking motion my pinky locks onto that hook and I don’t have to grip the handle as hard. It is not super obvious from my photo but in the top view you can see there is still a hanging hole in the end of the handle. Also note the orange parts in my photo are a hard plastic and the black parts are a grippy rubbery textured plastic. It is a very comfortable and useful handle design. The whole tool is 11.75” long. The width of the tool across the tines is 3”. The tines are 2” long and 3/8” wide (which is wider than the tines on many other cultivators). The tine width may be the one thing that is an issue for some people. They are pretty wide and not sharp/pointy at the end so they may tend to shovel out hard packed soil instead of scraping through it (more so than other thin tined cultivators).

I needed a good strong garden fork to hand-till my garden bed and this was perfect. Very strong and durable. It ripped up deep roots and weeds and helped me fluff up the soil to get it ready for planting.

This has a great grip and is well made. It has decent weight to it, but is easy to use. That said, I would have like the prongs to be a little sharper and pointier, instead of a rounded edge. But I can see the rounded edge being safer.

This seems to be very well made, like any other Fiskars product. Heavy duty. It did not bend or break, even when used by strong men digging out roots. Quite happy with it.

It’s very good for gardening

As with all outdoor tools manufactured by this company I found the tool to be of very high quality. I expect this tool will be around not only for my children but also grandchildren to utilize for yard work. Unless they don’t turn out to be cheapskates like me and hire folks to do their yard and landscape work.

Very strong and durable. Great size, good grip handle comfortable to hold onto making it easy to work with.

This Fiskars Ergo scratch tool is excellent. The handle is comfortable to use, and the cultivator works very well for loosening soil and removing weeds. Solid build quality and easy to control. Very happy with this garden tool.
