I have had 2 other smaller mats before, BUT THE SIZE OF THIS ONE IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL FOR INDOOR GARDENING. THE OTHER TWO SIMPLY WEREN'T BIG ENOUGH! THE CORNERS SNAP TOGETHER, and the SNAPS ARE EASY TO CLOSE. THAT IS PARTICULARLY HELPFUL FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ARTHRITIS OR WEAK HANDS. It’s an EXCELLENT TOOL for indoor gardening and REALLY KEPT MY AREA CLEAN. AFTERWARDS, I JUST WIPE IT DOWN WITH A DAMP CLOTH. THE MAT ITSELF IS GREEN and has a PLASTIC COATING over it, MAKING IT SIMPLE AND EASY TO CLEAN. It’s lightweight and EASY TO STORE because it FOLDS UP. It definitely seems to be MADE OF DURABLE MATERIAL, WHICH I BELIEVE WILL LAST FOR SOME TIME, and it looks good. OF COURSE I HAD TO TEST IT, SO I USED TINY GARDENING TOOLS AND I COULD NOT PUNCTURE THE MAT. IT WOULD TAKE CONSIDERABLE FORCE. IT ALLOWED NO DIRT CAME THROUGH AFTER I SEPARATED FIVE AFRICAN VIOLET PROPAGATIONS, AND I POTTED UP 14 plants. THERE WAS A TON OF SOIL GOING AROUND AND THE MAT PREVENTED SPILLAGE. THAT WAS ESSENTIAL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MAT ESPECIALLY FOR INDOOR GARDENING AND YOU'RE USING A LOT OF SOIL. ITS A PURCHASE I WOULD MAKE AGAIN, BUT I WONT NEED TO FOR QUITE A LONG TIME. BUY WITHOUT RESERVATION!! A+++

Generally this is a fine product that works for what it is meant for; but I can't give it a full five stars simply because it is smaller than I expected and is a tight fit when trying to fit everything onto it when repotting a plant. Also, the mat doesn't lay as flat as the photo suggests; it has a curvature to it which I think helps to accentuate the small size. I would try to get a slightly larger size if I was buying this anew.

This is a must have for indoor gardening. I plant, pot, re-pot, etc. on my kitchen island, and this allows me to do it cleanly. I don't have to use a tarp anymore. When I'm done working, I just carefully gather it up and slide the dirt that spilled out of my planters back into a container . It seems like it will last forever. It should work well outside, too, to contain that expensive soil as you work outside.

This is s Great buy of your getting started on indoor plants. Durable. Affordable. Easy to clean. Right size. Very easy to use and can be used outside.

This was a smart purchase for keeping my indoors free from dirt while I repot my plants. I could have purchased a smaller one that would fit more easily on my countertop, but it is easy to use, durable, folds easily and smoothly to the the width/length of a record album, and can be used indoor or outdoor. Lit is thick enough to carry with a large ceramic pot and a small bag of soil in it

This is an excellent item. It allows me to do repotting indoors without making a terrible mess. I like that you can just snap two out of the four corners and then it is a little easier to work. And then, when you're done, you can just scoop it all together and then brush any extra dirt into the garbage or composting, and take it to a sink to rinse it. This makes it so much easier to do indoor gardening. I imagine it would make it easier to do repotting outdoors as well, but that's not my use case.

Purchased & received these items .Good Products/ Good Quality- Recommended. Hoping to have it ON SALE & i will buy more. I find it expensive.

The mat is the perfect size. It keeps everything on the surface and is easy to clean. It folds up nicely after use. The quality is excellent.

Works great! It seems to be very durable and extremely easy to set up. I have noticed that some dirt got stuck to the surface and it’s a bit tough to get off for so reason but that could be because it was a bit wet. Over all very good purchase.

Perfect for repotting plants. Nice size, and contains the dirt that accumulates from repotting.
