My little girl and I are really disappointed in this unfortunately, especially since she saved really hard for it.Firstly the positives, great little case to hold it all, and theres lots of stuff to look at in there too, pom poms, fimo slices, googly eyes, beads for crunchy slime. Lots of it isn't much use for the kit though... not sure about the little moulds that look more suitable for Barbie's Sandpit, or the lollipop sticks. And there are packets of powder... I think they might be glow in the dark powders, but there's no instructions so not sure about that. And have absolutely no doubt that they won't mix with the slime anyway sadly.The biggest disappointment are the slimes themselves, they are described in the listing as jelly slimes, but actually they aren't slimey at all... they are just jellyish. They don't hold anything you put in them, so for example if you try to add the little balls to make crunchy slime, they don't stay in them very well, ditto the pom poms, fimo slices and I've veto'd the whole glitter idea. Not only is it not very slimey but it doesn't stretch very well either, you can stretch if very careful but it tends to just tear or rip. The consistency is very much more jelly, than it is slime. It doesn't flow at all.So we've had some tears because although its a well presented little kit, its not actually that much use, and given that she's saved up so hard to buy this, I'm going to have to purchase some actual slime for her to use all the bits with now. Or the ingredients to make our own. I feel so sorry for her.As I say, its a nice looking kit, in a nice looking box, but it's not worth the money we spent on it, and the slime isn't nice gloopy slime you can stretch and pull and stick things in.

Bought for my little sister for her 9th birthday as she is obsessed with slime. She loved it and it kept her busy for a few days. It has lots of different coloured slime and other extra DIY bits that can be used to personalise the slime. The storage box is also quite handy. The reason for my 4 stars is the fact that there are a couple of things in there that cannot really be used with slime. She did use them for other DIY projects but it seems irrelevant to put it with a slime kit. Also there are limited instruction if any. There were no instructions on how much powder is needed for the glow in the dark slime. For one of the slime pots she put the whole pack in and it dried out. For anyone who is looking to buy this I would advise to use a little at a time to avoid drying out. Other than that a really good present idea and do not regret buying. Just a couple of things that could be better.

As others have said we’ve had numerous slime making failures and so this kit was much more fun. You’re not actually making the slime - but there’s so many accessories to mix into the premade slime. My daughter really enjoyed combining the different objects and powders to create different textures. I think it would be good to buy extra slime as you have a lot of fillers left over.

Bought as birthday present for my niece and she loved it! It was slimy and stretchy. Many hours of fun. Also, after January news about deadly arsenic found in slime, it is reassuring to know that this product is tested and CE certified.
