It seems to be a very high quality oil. I think the smell is fabulous, but the wife doesn't like it. I think it's kind of a masculine scent. I use it on our dog's collar whenever we go outside to repel insects. This is how we prevent heartworms, and it seems to be extremely effective at repelling all insects. The dog doesn't really like the smell too much, but the collar comes off when we get back inside, so it's not a big issue. Sometimes he gets a little annoyed, but it keeps him safe. In addition to driving away the mosquitoes, we don't have a problem with fleas and ticks anymore. Just be warned not to put it undiluted into a plastic container. It's a very powerful essential oil, so it can melt plastics at full strength. I made the mistake of putting some of it into a plastic Dixie cup and leaving it on the counter for 5 minutes. When I came back, the cup had melted and it was all over the counter. This stuff has a ton of other medicinal uses, such as it being a topical antifungal agent for the skin, and its vapors help to clear the airways during illness. It's the effective ingredient in Vick's Vapor Rub.

Very good product smell & work like it did when I was a child

Good oil not a diluted solution but the real thing. This oil has many benefits. It’s a antibacterial product for your skin, teeth just make sure you dilute it first before applying to your skin.

This camphor EO is not as potent as I would like, it doesn't seem to have a high percentage of actual camphor chemical in it, as it is no where near as potent as the solid blocks that sublimate into vapor. It also doesn't have a pure scent, and there's some dark undertones which are easily detected from bulk oil. But when it is diluted into carrier oil or made into a mix of other oils, it works pretty well and the undertone isn't a problem. Because it's not very potent it takes a fair amount of EO to carry a camphorescent scent into a product. I would love to know what the composition breakdown is, it's definitely not just camphor, so there must be other terpenes and volatiles solvating the camphor.
