I am by no means a connoisseur of olive oil, BUT if this is the taste of real olives, by all means sign me up! It's smooth like a fine wine or liquor. I would never be able to describe what an olive oil should taste like, but this one is GREAT!

【購入のきっかけ】 信頼している料理系YouTuberの方が愛用されているのを見て、以前から気になっていました。最近は数種類の高品質なオリーブオイルを試して比較しているのですが、ついにこちらを手に取ってみることに。 【実際に使ってみて：良かった点】 驚くほどの「まろやかさ」： 良いオリーブオイル特有の「喉にくるピリッとした辛味」がほとんどありません。非常にフルーティーで雑味がなく、オイルだけでこれほど味が変わるのかと驚きました。 野菜が主役になる魔法： サラダにこのオイルとハーブソルトをかけるだけで、ドレッシングいらずでもりもり野菜が食べられます。野菜本来の甘みを引き立ててくれる感覚です。 パスタの仕上げに： 火を止めた後のパスタにひと回しするだけで、香りが格段に華やかになります。 【気になった点：ボトルの仕様】 注ぎ口の出方： 構造上、少しオイルが出にくいと感じることがあります。軽く振るようにするとスムーズに出ますが、最初は戸惑うかもしれません。ただ、ドバッと出過ぎてしまう心配がないので、逆にメリットとも言えます。 【総評：こんな人におすすめ】 オリーブオイル特有の辛味や苦味が苦手な方 自宅での食事をワンランク上の「体験」に変えたい方 生野菜を美味しく、たくさん食べたい方 お値段は決して安くありませんが、加熱用の油とは完全に切り離し、「仕上げの調味料」として使えばコスパは悪くないと思います。食を楽しむすべての方に、一度は試してほしい感動の1本です

We were introduced to this oil (and another in the range) when first holidaying in Sicily. The hotel restaurant said it's kept it for their special guests because it's too expensive for just anyone, but having been to the same hotel three years running and hearing same patter any possibility of being made to feel special wore thin! Unlike the oil which at home we've used ever since, particularly in bread-making where the depth of taste and smoothness is incomparable. We are not connoisseurs so cannot say whether any of the dozens of other pricey (or possibly over-priced?) brands of olive oil would be as good if not better, but for us we are content to stick with Lorenzo. Good too that it's available via Amazon. My question to the seller was answered promptly, including a personal telephone call, ad the oil arrived securely packaged.

No surprises here -- exquisite stuff. Lights up the salads, pasta, and just some good bread + Lorenzo #5 (the classic all time test ...no salt, pepper or any other distractions!) ). Ottimo prodotto! ps: Great that amazon India now has these fantastic EVOO..

Real good oil, will definitely buy again!
