The C3 Pro is a fantastic keyboard infact I’m typing this review on it. It’s quiet, making it perfect for shared spaces or using it at night. The removable keycaps make it easy to customize if you want to, allowing you to swap them for a new look or replacement. The build quality is solid, with a comfortable typing experience that works well for both work and gaming. For its price, it offers incredible value. It delivers premium features, like hot-swap and Mac and Windows support, typically found in more expensive keyboards. If you're looking for an affordable, reliable, and versatile keyboard, the C3 Pro is an excellent choice

The keyboard is great. The RGB light is very configurable and nice. The keys are double shot and shine through, thus you can easily see them in the dark. Just ensure to update the firmware of the keyboard, following Keychron's directions. Before I had done so, I almost returned the keyboard to Amazon as key presses were missed as well as doubled. This is now all fixed with the latest firmware version 1.0.1 from November 2024.

This is an excellent wired mechanical keyboard. I highly recommend it if you are OK with the wired only option and the form factor. Key feel is excellent as well as the sound. The lighting options are great. Build quality is very good. I did have a couple questionable switches which would not trigger unless I pressed down pretty hard. To work around this, I simply pulled out the key cap and switch puller that came in the box and swapped the troublesome switches with those from keys that I never or hardly ever use. The switches are hot-swapable. Problem effectively resolved. I like the looks of the keyboard with the very simple red highlighted keys.

I think the price on these C3 Pro keyboards has been creeping up. I bought mine on sale, but even if it were a bit more than what I paid it's really hard not to like this keyboard. (The full-size hot-swappable C2 Pro seems to be climbing to nearly twice the price of this keyboard... at that price you should be looking at the K10 Pro or K10 Max, which come with much nicer keycaps. But for TKL-size keyboards, this C3 Pro is a great deal). The keyboard is all plastic, but it feels solid. No creaky plastic sounds, and it doesn't feel flimsy. I think it has sound absorbing foam inside because it doesn't feel or sound hollow. The hot-swap sockets work well. The included keycaps are just OK, but any better keycap set I have cost far more than this entire keyboard. If you don't know what QMK/VIA is, and you want to reprogram the keyboard, you should know this: With QMK/VIA you can do any programming you want, on a PC or Mac, and you don't need to keep any crappy software running to keep your programming. You actually change the programming inside the keyboard. It's fantastic. This is the way programmable keyboards should be done. The software is also easy to use and runs in your browser (not Safari, but works in Chrome) so there isn't anything to install.
