After our pediatrician recommended this specific probiotic strain for our 9 year old son with autism & ADHD, I have been buying and giving him this daily ever since (about a year now). While it's no magic powder or miracle cure, I feel like it really helps him stay healthy, regular and centered.If any of you are autism moms, you know how limited the "autism diet" can be due to picky eating, and how much of that diet is often made up of simple, processed carbs (like chips, crackers, cereal, french fries etc.). Before we started taking this, it was practically impossible to get our son to eat protein or even fruits and vegetables. We would just make him a smoothie daily with all the protein and superfood powders we could sneak in. I started adding this to his smoothies and it was completely undetected.Now, a year later, our boy is actually eating organic chicken and beef as well as apples and carrots raw, which is a huge deal for him! Additionally, I just mix this powder straight into his flavored water and he drinks it right down! It mixes PERFECTLY, and trust me, he would know and would absolutely refuse it if it was the least bit clumpy, gritty or had any flavor to it whatsoever!I'm not crediting this probiotic with the strides he has made over the last year (physically, socially, cognitively and dietarily), but I can certainly tell you it hasn't hurt! I will continue to buy and give this to him as long as they make it!I can definitely recommend this if you're looking for this specific strain in a form that mixes easily and is tasteless and undetectable.I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! We all know if you've researched at all that flora in our gut is imperative! We are holistic in his healing approach, which has and continues to prove restorative. This product is no different! We were already supplementing his drinks with fermented (powdered) friut/veggie/mushrooms etc, also purchased here on Amazon. Then about a month ago introduced this specific probiotic that we read was also helpful to all but particularly those w/ Autism.His mood improved greatly after just a day or too, speech has increased (previously nearly non verbal, now saying spontaneously at least 10 random comunacative request words). Eye contact seems 20% or so better. Less "behaviors", overall more compliant, overall more happy, overall sleeps better, rather doesn't fight/upset/worked up and fight sleeping for an hour. Now he lays much more still and calm, happy I dare say and generally seems to enjoy the oncoming rest. Now granted, it's usually at least 12 at night or later that he's finally sleepy but it's really wonderful he's starting NOT to fight having to finally rest, almost like he's looking forward to it a tad! Awesome!Please note! We did start w the recommended dose but he now is taking up to 4 tablespoons from morning to night in cups throughout the day. It's very affordable and in my opinion, worth every penny! You should still see results just as we with 1 dose but after increasing to 2 to 4 a day, evenly dispersed we have seen even better results. We will slack back off to 1 dose here in a couple months, once his body has built back up it's natural flora and his stools are more fir/stay that way. Stool color/formation gives lots of information to the condition of our guts, our bodies.Overall! Purchase and your body will thank you! So thrilled for our son he feels less frustrated, more happy/calm.P.s. our family now takes the capsule probiotic since we can swallow them.. They are very small so our daughter can swallow them easily too.Hope this review helps another family!

I started using this with my son when he was one month old, because he was very colicky and seemed to have a lot of GI distress.I had to be in antibiotics for a while and obviously was not passing any good germs through my breastmilk, so we asked the doctor about using probiotics and he said it wouldn't hurtThere is a lot of promise in probiotics for children, and obviously all kinds of baby product companies have jumped on the bandwagon.However, the research for colic and infants is only based on using L.reuteri, which is the one passed to babies through breast milk, and a lot of baby probiotice products don't have it.We initially were using BioGaia L.reuteri, but it is really expensive compared to this one, it also lasts a long time since you only have to use 1/2 tbsp for infants and toddlers.It is hard to say whether is due to the probiotics or just growing up, but his GI distress went away, he has never been sick and almost never had gas issues and very little spit up.I would recommend this product, specially if your baby has to take a lot of antibiotics

After buying multiple other probiotics & testing this & that I just decided NOTHING works quite like this. It tastes great so you can just put it under your tongue & take with water. Otherwise mix it into smoothies. My son has ASD, SPD, ADHD, & a rare genetic condition called 16p13.11. He’s VERY high functioning so the main challenge is getting him to regulate his body. This helps with that on every level. It helps his GI tract but also helps with calming his nerves & getting him to chill. I take it since I’ve got the genetic condition as well & also ADHD along with Hashimoto’s. My stomach is a nightmare due to the Hashi’s. This keeps it calm & relaxes me as well. We don’t take the full teaspoon because our daily vitamin (same company it’s their liquid Alive multivitamin) also has prebiotics & probiotics formulated in that. But the 2 combined work wonders for us. I’ll be buying 2 at a time with this since the reason why I stopped using it was because I couldn’t find it for some time. It doesn’t take up that much room in the fridge where I can’t have a backup on hand.
