I love LED lighting and it's so cheap nowadays that you can incorporate it into almost any project. However, the issue with cheaper LED strips is the "dot" effect you get from the spaced diodes. COB is more expensive, but it solves this with an almost laser like light strip. This 7m COB light strip is no different. It's white only so you can switch through a selection of "temperatures", from an incredibly bright cold white to.a nice warm orange glow, with light intensity settings that can be applied to both to go from full room lighting, down to a soft homely glow. Installation is simple, just decide where it's going to be fixed, peel off the backing and stick in place, job done. Just take care on corners and use a bit of heat if you need to remove/ relocate. The strip has a standard UK plug for power and the plug has a selection of the most common controls, but it's recommended to use the remote or the app to get full freedom of control. Priced at £34.99, (reduced from £39.99, at the time of ordering), for 7m, it's not the cheapest LED lighting option, but if you want the consistency of COB over the "dots" of standard LED, you'll appreciate these as a good solution. Just one thing to note, I noticed a bit of heat build up in the light strip during testing, I'm sure this is normal,, but I've always thought how cool to the touch mu lights have been, perhaps it because they're 24v?

This superb LED strip light array from 'TENDIST' comes in a very generous 6 metre length, (wrapped carefully on a reel, which is then stored in a special protective bag). and also has a remote control (requiring just 2 AAA batteries), and the 2.4G Powerful RF Remote has a powerful range of up to 25m, the 360° remote doesn't even require direct pointing at the strip light, this feature in a REAL bonus. It is also controllable using a free Smart APP, called "Zengge", which is just so much fun to use, with functions "Dimmable, Timing Function, Voice Function, and even Custom Modes", and the app was so easy to install too. One of my included images is the makers information image which shows how to connect, it also shows info about Flexible Bending and more. There are 4 light options, 3000K warm white, 4000K natural white, 5000K Daylight White, and even 6500K Cold White. And I do like the Strip Lights memory function that automatically remembers and returns to the last-used level of brightness, I say that because many lights once turned off, revert back to default mode, which can often be an annoying mode such as 'Fast Flashing'. The 24v led strip, can be safely touched, is also "peelable" self adhesive for easy installation, and can be cuttable according to the cutting mark at the position. Thank you for a superb product, I was so lucky to find this which is just perfect for illuminating rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, stairs, closets, study rooms, wardrobes, shelf lighting and more, and especially closets and wardrobes which (in our house) are dark at the best of times. One of my images shows a whole metal shed lit up inside, perfect, as generally I can't find anything in that shed, not even in Summer !.
