The pump is holding up and the LED light is still working. Needed to buy more filters for the fountain, however it's super cheap to do so if you truly care about what your animal is drinking. They come in 6 or 12 packs for the filters and i believe both were close to if not under $20 Still easy to clean, using a pipe cleaning bristle brush to clean out the spout and water flow routes. And basic handwashing of the tray and pot. No stains, no weird grime build up. Just try to clean it when you know it's time it need to be refilled. Check filters upon cleaning run them thorugh hot water to clean them up from any debris. Any debris on the filter doesnt necessarily mean the filter needs to be changed. Youll know when the filter needs to be changed by lookin at it, or just follow the basic instructions the comapny suggests. Anyway it is still 100% a 5 star rating this product has saved me so much money as stated in my original review on having to leave a trickle of water in my bathroom sink for my cat. Bought this cat fountain for my cat Bella. She was a bit nervous of it at fist but she is ok with it now. I found it quite easy to assemble, clear instructions. I was surprised how quiet it is, in fact no noise at all. It’s easy to clean, good water capacity. It is great value for the price. It gives me peace of mind that Bella’s water is always clean and plentiful.

When I realised one of my cats was susceptible to cat acne from the plastic water fountain, I decided to change to the steel kind. This one is perfect and very premium. I have two adult cats and they both took to it easily and don't pay attention to the reviews about the noise, I just don't think those people put it together properly because when its filled with water its practically silent. I shared a video just after cleaning and filling it properly. Will buy again when needed!

Works perfectly! My cat didn't like it at first, the steel plate with water was too bright for her. I found a small ceramic plate, placed it inside the steel one and the problem had been solved. The fountain is nice and quiet.
