More affordable than most
Good price, they donโt look too bad either however I am not sure they did anything haha. Maybe I need to cover the entire wall with them. Seems like you need to commit and go all or nothing with room treatment panels to really hear the difference. Giving 4 stars as it may be user error.

NOT 48x24!!
I bought 2 packages of these intending on covering more wall space than i was actually able to. And, that was because their measurements are quite wrong. These measure 47-1/4 x 23-5/8!! When you're expecting to be able to get two 24" pieces out of one panel and can only get one, it's an expensive scrap that you're left with. The positive side of these is that they are very nice looking. You do need a very sharp utility knife and a straight edge to cut them. They do come with very nice, thick adhesive squares. I'm not sure how cleanly they'll come off of a wall if you aren't a homeowner. They were super sticky! These panels help deaden sound or muffle sound vs being a total sound absorber. We have them on an adjoining bedroom wall (well, only part of the wall because of the size issue!). Instead of hearing words from a conversation in the other room, it was more like Snoopy's teacher. Waah waah waah. So, I'd recommend them if you go into it knowing you aren't getting the size they say in their description. That 3/4s of an inch in length is huge, expensive difference! I'm not willing to pay for a third box to complete the project. You'll see from my pictures that we just used them in a corner.

Amazing!
I moved into a first floor apartment where there is a pipe in the wall behind my headboard and when someone above me uses water, I could hear it running down the pipe inside the wall. I installed these panels by just standing them up behind my headboard and pushing the bed up against them to hold them in place. Now I can just barely faintly hear the pipe. So for my purpose of blocking sound coming from inside a wall, they worked great! Best part is I didn't attach them, so I can take them with me when I move. Also they look great. Just a subtle black behind my headboard.

Good at stopping overly bright loud speakers
These are not designed to stop or block loud noises, but rather to stop acoustic noise from reflecting off the walls and/or creating echoes. When I upgraded to a pair of ELAC Uni-Fi Reference UBR62s in a bedroom office where the speakers are 8" from the wall and right corner at first I hated them because they were so bright they fatigued me. So to fix this I installed these acoustic tiles behind them, and to the side of the corner. I'd say they cut the brightness by about 75-85%. And I was able to stand them up agains the wall without using any adhesive, which was great because I'm a renter. If you are having a problem with speaker reflections behind the speakers, or behind your couch on the wall, I'd give these a try. And they have a NRC of .95, which means they reduce 95% of the reflected sound in the upper mid to treble frequencies.
