will this work in a salt grinder?

I'm not sure. Each granule is very tiny and we've found that it goes into solution easily. In soups or dressings it's just part of the texture of the other ingredients.

How do the dulse granules compare to to dulse flakes? Are they the same?

Both forms come from one process. Whole leaf dulse is milled and shifted into flakes, granules, and powder. The only difference is the size of the particles. Flakes are slightly larger than granules.
