How is this unit mounted on the table?

Unit comes with a removable base , mount base to table or other secure surface with ( ouch ) bolts , screws or lag bolts , then once base is mounted you slide cutter in and out for cleaning and other , a good American built product .

What do you recommend for a base? i don’t have a counter to bolt it on. plastic ? wood? and how thick?

You’ll need something heavy because the cutter is top heavy and will tip over if it’s not bolted down. Also something that you can clean easy. Maybe a piece of butcher block.

I cant find parts to order for this cutter on Amazon? Anyone help me?
