Good value little speakers for the price. They really benefit from a sealed enclosure, one fitted they provide good quality sound for such small budget drivers (great for a DIY ai assistant). The only downside is mounting them is a pain, due to the tiny lip around the outside. If you can live with that, then they are a great choice anywhere you need compact drivers.

Replaced the broken speakers in my JBL Creature Satellites with these. Fairly easy job, although larger diameter than existing JBL units, I flush bonded to the internal mounts with Araldite, added sticky pads to the backs to fill the gap, soldered the wires, took less than an hour. Sound quality is at least as good as before, so a good outcome.

Refreshed the JBL Creature with this. Being picky, but I feel like the mids aren’t pushed as much with these compared to stock. I know these are tweeters, but since the creature only has a sub + tweeters, kind of have to rely on these to get the mids out. Regardless, decent dynamic range for the size and the creature sounds good all things considered. If you’re planning on doing this, you’re gonna have to trim the plastic inside the casings. Honestly, you can not use the plastic inner casing if you want.

Fits perfect on JBL flip 2 just have to fabricate a hold down bracket for speaker. Speakers sounds great!
