Stuck one of these in my hair not thinking it would stick very well. I have grey, fine hair, an inch or 2 below my shoulder. Most clips tend to fall out. I just twisted it up into a very slopping french roll, no mirror, while waiting for my coffee to brew. Stayed stuck until it was time to get ready for work. Very gentle. I really didn't think it would stay as I couldn't even feel it. Pretty impressive.

These are great for your hair. They do break easily but doesn’t everything these days?

I use hair forks to keep my bun in place, and have tried a bunch of different kinds. I even cut and filed down a couple that I liked that were too long. I have one kind that I particularly like that is thin and flexible, not too long, with a rounded curve at the top. That one had been my favorite until I tried this one. I find that a lot of others are either too long or too flimsy and fall out too easily. So I have tried a lot of different styles and even made custom versions! I thought I would try these as another alternative. They are great! I have long, fine hair, but a lot of it, and this works like a dream! The design of this hair pin is ingenious! The plastic is flexible and has some give, but then stays put once it's pushed into the hair. The curves inside the three prongs put enough pressure to hold the hair firm, but without pinching or pulling. They stay in place better than any other style I have tried. Another reviewer mentioned these hair pins breaking, and I could see this happening at some point, if used with too much pressure, or just over time and use, but they seem pretty sturdy and if used carefully seem like they will last.

These might work for you, but they definitely didn’t work for my fine hair. They stay in place for a bit but it’s definitely not an all day hold for me. It’s not to say this is a bad product, there’s not a lot of products other than regular ties or headbands that hold my hair in place for work. I also don’t use a lot of product which might also affect the functionality. But the price is good so worth a try!

I absolutely LOVE these hair clips! I have curly hair that had been long, medium, and now chin length ... and I've been able to use these with all different lengths. They hold so well, and all day with no slippage! I can lie down with one in my hair and it actually doesn't even both me when I do so. There were several different colors to choose from, so I was happy to share the wealth with some of my friends; they loved them too! I wish I could find them in colors that are vivid, I'd happily buy those too. I can't say enough about these clips, great value, don't hesitate to give them a try too!

These are really great, way easier to use than I first thought. I have pretty fine hair, so I'm not sure how thick hair would be.

These work well for my thinner hair. They were not good in my daughter’s thicker hair. They held my hair well with a little styling product. They did not hold my daughters heavier hair up long.

Very difficult to get it in your hair fits loosely don’t stay where you would like

I bought the hair clips for my daughter-in-law who has beautiful, thick, shoulder length hair. She used them to put her hair into a fancy ‘up style.’ The clasps held her hair in place , very securely, for the whole day. She is delighted with them! They were certain;y good value for money
