Fit for Kawasaki Z900 Z900RS Z900SE Frame Sliders (Black)

I bought these for my Kawasaki Z900RS. I went with the black finish since it matched the engine color better. I didn't want them to stand out anyway, since I'm installing them as a precaution & not for fashion. I'm happy to say that they installed solidly in the frame mounts. The supplied bolts were long enough to reach thru the sliders & engine mount bolt holes. The sliders are snug in the frame mounts with no room for play or wiggle. And, you don't notice them unless you know what they are & are looking for them. The process of installation was straigh forward. But there are some notworthy parts to the installation you may want to consider. The bolts for these sliders replace your upper-end bolts. Yes, the ones that connect your engine to the frame mounts. If this type of change makes you leary, it's worth noting. There is one more thing you'll need to know. Which was brought up in another review. Do not remove the engine mounting bolts from both sides at the same time. Install one slider on one side of the bike. Making sure to get everything to spec. Then do the other slider on the other side of the bike. If you remove both engine mounting bolts at the same time, the engine may want to slip down since it won't be supported. Then you'll need to lift the engine back into place so the mounting holes line up again. If it weren't for that other review mentioning the woes of their install, I may have gone about my process in a diff way. But I didn't have any problems getting the bolt holes to line up installing one side fully, then doing the other side. Thx Anna, for bringing up your installation issue. Fit my z900 rs perfectly look great and fit in with the color of the bike

MAKE SURE TO ONLY DO ONE SIDE AT A TIME. Aside from that, super easy installation. Be sure to torque it down to spec, it’s fairly tight 44 ft-lbs for my ‘24 z900. If I find they break easily or wear I will update, but they seem good.

2024 z900 Not a perfect fit. Touches motor on right side. I had to remove the ring at the bottom of the slider so it would clear the motor.

My buddy recommended these, said his bike has fallen over 3 times and his bike was untouched. Great peace of mind for little money. Install time was less than 10 minutes.

terrible! was sent a customer return item, mounted anyway, however these are not the fit for the z900rs. There is no way these are being torqued to 44ft despite placing the engine on stand and doing sides one by one. What a crap, get yourself a name brand and have the ease of mind

Decent product and did the job for my Z900SE. Not sure how well they'll do but they seem as good as any other name brand
