It's not often that I write Amazon reviews, but a recent wonderful interaction with Gevi’s customer support has motivated me to write this review: We REALLY enjoy our espresso-based drinks (shots, lattes, and cappuccinos) and my wife was so thoughtful to get this unit for the family. The Gevi Espresso machine has become a top performer in our kitchen. I was a little skeptical at first (I had gotten used to my stovetop espresso pots from the pandemic), but this unit is so easy to operate: one button for grind (right into the hopper), then another button to brew the shots, and a third knob to start the steam to froth the milk. It is WAY too easy to binge on espresso shots, and brewed coffee has been relegated to "brown burnt water" status. What I've really been impressed with is Gevi's customer service. When I first put the machine together, the one thing I noticed was that the bean hopper was like a large funnel. When we wanted to swap beans (ex. flavored beans), to avoid making a mess having the beans spill out, we were using up all of the beans in the hopper before reloading with new beans. I was cleaning the unit and I discovered that the hopper has small stoppers that when you remove the hopper the stoppers prevent the beans from pouring out - so you can safely remove the hopper without beans spilling all over the kitchen floor. With this newfound knowledge, I thought that a second hopper would be invaluable for my original wish to be able to easily change beans without having to exhaust the hopper's current contents. I reached out to Gevi's customer service, and found the best support person - Ruby. Ruby wasted no time and though a couple basic e-mails to establish the specifics for our unit, Ruby was able to ship a new hopper to me - it was like an early birthday present!!! I wanted to thank Gevi for an awesome machine that we use every day, and more importantly for the customer support person - Ruby. Given my interactions with Gevi through Ruby, if we do have any future questions about the machine, I know that there are people like Ruby at Gevi willing to support the customer well after the initial sale. If you are considering a countertop, semi-automatic espresso machine, Gevi is the way to go!!!

I am a real coffee person ☕️ and my dad got me this as a birthday present. it works amazingly and i LOVE it. i had small problems to which ay first i blamed the machine until i realized they were MY problems. at first i thought that the milk steamer didnt work.when ever that happens take off the front nozzle and give and quick wash. dry it and replace. if it continues not working....your waters low! If your trying to pull a shot and its not working you either didnt tamper or didn't tamper correctly. i love my espresso machine! its been a big hit in the home!

I have had this less than three months. Let’s see- it still doesn’t produce crema as it should. I have had cheaper espresso machines that produced 5-6 times More than the 1mm crema you get with this machine. Doesn’t matter how you grind, what water you use, anything. It cannot produce crema. Also- the pump went out on me. Now I get more steam from under the machine that what goes through the grounds. I have been making espressos for years and this is the most infuriating and ridiculous waste of money. Do not buy this unless three months down the road you want a paperweight that looks like an espresso machine. I will have to buy a third machine in less than a year. Second machine from these folks. Last time. Close to $500 in 7 months. For two rotten machines. Updates: Gevi asked that I provide proof that their machine was not working properly before they gave me my refund. The proof was to be in the form of a video. Ok. No problem. But there was a problem. They asked that the video show the entire procedure from grinding the espresso bean to the final product. I did exactly that. The only problem is that you can only upload a 10mb file. What video is only 10mb these days?!? So that’s where they screw you. You can’t provide the fact their gear sucks so they keep your money and you’re left with a piece of garbage. So if you want to lose, $340 bucks, by all means, buy this trash and get zero support.

Great machine, does all that it says it does! I wish there was a regular coffee pot also, but it makes great expresso.

Never saw myself as an espresso, latte kinda guy. Until the cruise.. so when we got back, regular drip coffee just wouldn't do. So, now with this machine I can make my own lattes at home at so much less than those "fru fru" coffee joints. Easy to operate and makes a great cuppa joe. Espresso, Lattes, Cappuccino, or Americanos... this machine can do it all. And a built in grinder for fresh grounds... Great all in one machine

El tuvo para hacer la espuma no funciona, no hace muy buena espuma, no tiene fuerza, recomiendo limpiar el contenedor de agua una vez por semana, el Molina funciona bien

Bought as a gift for my wife. Didn’t know the first this about espresso. It was super easy to setup and learn how to use, took no time. I went back and forth on buying one with or without a grinder because of the price difference. It is worth paying a little more and getting the bean grinder, easier and nice to have fresh ground. Added bonus, wife also love espresso martinis and I have been able to perfect them.
