This thing is a game changer. I’ve used the Ooni Karu 12 several times now and every pizza has come out with that perfect, wood-fired taste — crispy crust, soft inside, and bubbling cheese in under 90 seconds. Heats up quick (20-25 minutes tops with wood or lump charcoal), and the multi-fuel option is great depending on how much time I’ve got. I usually use wood for flavor, but it’s nice being able to switch to gas with the attachment when I want a quicker setup. Build quality is rock solid — stainless steel body holds heat well, and the insulation actually works. It’s lightweight enough to move around but doesn’t feel cheap at all. Once you get the hang of turning and launching the dough, it’s smooth sailing. Just be ready — this oven runs hot and fast. This oven exceeded my expectations...and those expectations were pretty high! It is perfect in everyway imaginable. The instructions are accurate and easy to follow. The OONI app provides recipes that are spot on. I have been making homemade pizza for almost 50 years (yeah, I am old as dirt). I have tried other outdoor ovens, but nothing compared to the OONI Kara 2. My dough speciality is Neapolitan and this oven was made for it! Excellent results on the first use of the oven! I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are interested in the outdoor pizza making experience, OONI is your next step!

We have enjoyed using this for pizza night, definitely makes a delicious pizza, I will say that it is a little bit hard to regulate the temperature and get it hot enough.

Our family's new favorite thing and great memory maker. Fun night for everyone to make their own personal pizzas. Easy to put together and transport. I wish my HOA would allow me to use this. It’s awesome but sadly I could not even get it out of the box. I love making pizzas and this thing was the top rated oven. It’s truly professional but it requires space outdoors to allow heat to leave the funnel. Sadly I need to get electric

Let me just say this: the Ooni Karu 12 is the closest I’ll ever get to owning a wood-fired pizza restaurant — and honestly, that’s fine by me. Set-up was so simple even my husband didn’t overcomplicate it (miracle). It heats up fast, cooks pizzas in literally 60 seconds, and makes me feel like a weekday dinner goddess without destroying my kitchen. We cheat and use premade dough (because life), toss on whatever toppings haven’t expired, and boom — pizza night that actually feels fun instead of “ugh, what’s for dinner again?” It’s become a full family event. Kids love watching it cook, I love not using the oven, and my husband thinks he’s some kind of pizza chef now. Win-win-win. If you’ve got a backyard and a family that eats, this thing is a no-brainer. You’ll never look at frozen pizza the same again.

El horno muy bien, el embalaje también y en tiempo, hay que señalar que el adaptador a gas no viene, pero ni comprado aquí ni en ningún lado y son 100€ a añadir, para usarlo con leña si viene preparado

The quality of this product is first rate. Assembly is simple and quick and performed with the confidence that the engineering of the product is of the highest standard such that everything is present, well explained and fits without any problems. The function of the product is equally impressive. At zero degrees C, I was able to place the oven in the garden and cook the best homemade pizzas I’ve ever had. Once up to temperature it takes literally three minutes or less to cook the finest homemade freshly prepared pizza using freshly kneaded dough. The only word of warning is have for anyone using this product is that it is really rather heavy, weighing in at about 22 Kg. This is entirely a consequence of its exemplary build quality and use of excellent materials. However it does mean that for a portable pizza oven, you’d not really want to have to walk far with it.

Der Offen funktioniert super. Ich habe direkt den Gas Brenner dazu gekauft und betreibe ihn auch nur so. Das Aufheizen dauert gut und gern 20-30 min aber dann läuft es. Eine Pizza benötigt so 3-4 Minuten. Flammkuchen geht auch gut. Aufgrund der doch geringen Höhe des Garraumes, muss man bissl üben, dass die Pizza gut rein geht. Bei meinen ersten Versuchen ist mir eine Pizza auch mal komplett zusammen gerutscht und der Belag lag im Ofen, anstatt auf dem Teig. Aber nach der 4 Pizza hatte ich den Dreh dann raus. Ein guter Pizza Heber ist in jedem Fall Pflicht, sonst wird das nichts. Fazit: Ich würde ihn wieder kaufen, für einen Pizza Ofen ist er für mich obere Mittelklasse und damit auch seinen Preis wert.
