The pattern is woven in, not printed, and it is perfectly woven, no imperfections. It is thick but not very soft. It lays flat immediately and does not curl up at the corners like other washable rugs I own. It is a really neutral pattern, makes everything in the room look good without attracting attention to itself. I am really happy with the quality for the price. This will definitely fit in my washing machine. It seems to be a material that does not soak up stains. The weave does not attract dog hairs at all. Easy to vacuum.

This is a high-quality washable rug that was a perfect solution for our household. We have two dogs that come in and out of the house all day tracking in dirt. Our oldest dog got sick on the rug and we were able to clean everything up without a stain. We haven't had to wash the entire rug yet because of its resistance to dirt and stains. Be sure to buy an under rug cushion/mat if you want a little cushion. Would purchase again.

Purchased this 2x8 rug runner for a bathroom. Immediately had to purchase a rubber rug pad, as it slid right across tile when stepped on. The rubber backing does work well with it. But, after being in use for *not even two months*, it is noticeably stained from regular foot traffic. These pictures were taken AFTER washing in hot water, full tub, with 2 extra rinses--today! This does not represent a stain or anything--just where we stand in front of the sink. As you can see washing it did nothing, except shrink the length about 2 inches so now I have to trim the pad underneath. Definitely would not buy this material again for a bathroom, or probably anywhere else, considering it is mostly clean, bare feet causing the discoloration here.
