Good solid PIR Early days but seems to be working well. I'm not overly impressed with design although it does look nice when finished. The unit is in 3 pieces. You screw the back half of the main body to the surface through the smaller backing plate. This allows for the lateral movement of the whole body. The PIR detector itself only moves vertically. The front part of the main body hinges inwards from the bottom. You hook it in and then secure it at the top with a single screw. This is my main gripe. You need to leave room above the unit to screw the screw in. This was a pain for me as I wanted to use the existing wiring hole. The fixing screw or preferably screws should be inserted in the front of the unit. At the top or in the sides is stupid. Even using a tiny Wera ratchet with a Phillips bit in it I still had to leave a good 50mm clearance above it.Apart from this, it is a good unit

There is plenty of space to terminate the cable, but as the photocell doesn't have a restraining strap, it can fall during installation. The cover is fixed by a small cross head screw at the top of the enclosure, so a right angled screwdriver is necessary if installing below a soffit. Adjustment for time and lux level is easy.

Purchased to replace an old one that failed in the On position.Very easy to fit and wire up. I like the broad bands of the 2 settings making it easy to set up.Very wet and windy weather lately and there has been no problem with this item.

Expensive but fed up with previous cheaper Screwfix fitting that stayed on all day despite adjustment to sensors. This unit was easy to fit and extremely easy to set up. Really impressed this the auto sensor operation - works very well and worth the extra££

Mounting onto brickwork faced wall, choose the location carefully for the access of the rear entry & exit of the mains power cables & then securing the unit to the brick face.Works really well once installed correctly.

This is an excellent motion sensor. It's identical to the first one a bought a number of years ago. Great quality, very easy to fit, and simple to setup.

Went through various PIRs that would seem to work short term (badly) before being on all the time or triggering for no reason at all. This unit feels better quality than other cheaper alternatives. So far its working perfectly and looks smart as well. Time will tell how well it lasts though

I needed a sensor that pointed straight down to cover a narrow pathway--this was perfect for the job.
