Do these boots have steel toe caps?

No they don't. They are a heavy duty agricultural wellington boot. But they are of a very good quality.

Do these boots stand up on their own, please, or ‘flop over’ ?

These boots do stand up on their own. Only gripe I have with them is I've had to put some insoles in them. As there is a 'crease' of material on the foot beds, that may of led to blisters. I am a size 12 and size 12 fit OK.

Sizing. I'm between 3 and 4 but want to put an insole in the boot with thick socks. What size do I need please?

Hi i'm a 9.5, and get size 9 which fit perfect with 2 pair of sock on . Hope this helps.

What can you say about or expect from Wellies

Well made, strong, water proof and fit. A bit on the heavy side but they will probably outlast me. The last pair pensioned off because I outgrew them and the soles wore thin after 30 years. I am 73 years old.

Acifort heavy duty wellingtons !

Nice sturdy boots! Good heal cushioning! Takes insoles with room to spare! Only four star because they are a little heavy after a long day! Stronger legs will help!

Great wellies

Wholly reliable. I walk at least 4 miles per day and replace about every 10 or 11 months. So, they do about 1200 miles which makes them excellent value as well as being ideal for the job of walking the dog.

Good fit & value for money

I had great difficulty selecting a new pair of boots because they all seemed to have negative reviews mainly concerning size and durability. I finally plumped for these since they were not pretentiously overpriced and seemed to have least worse reviews. So far very happy. They fit and are comfortable enough for my regular mile walk to feed our ponies. I can not comment yet on Durability. I will try to remember to come back in a couple of months and update this review.

Lasted nearly 3 years, including sea use, good for the price tag.

Had to put my insoles in for narrow feet but great for the money with surprising high grip in the wet. Then suddenly cracks all over the both boots last week, wet feet!

Perfect!

I use wellies a lot as I live in the countryside, these were a replacement for my old dunlop wellies, I've used them for a few months now, they don't leak and seem extremely well made, the only thing that might annoy some people is that they are quite heavy, this doesn't bother me, but people who have used my wellies find them heavy, but i love them!
