Question 1

Does this baby monitor need WiFi or an app to work?

Accepted Answer

No, the Lullaby Bay LB603 connects directly between the camera and monitor using a secure, private link — no WiFi, apps, or internet needed. Perfect for privacy, simplicity and security.

Question 2

Can I use it while travelling or camping without plug sockets?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The LB603 Advance uses USB-C and can be powered (camera) and charged (parent unit) using portable battery packs or car chargers. Ideal for camping trips, holidays, and staying with family.

Question 3

How far is the range for the monitor?

Accepted Answer

The LB603 Advance works up to 300 meters (about 1000 feet) in open spaces. Indoors (with walls), typical range is around 100–150 meters — great for homes, gardens, or motorhomes.

Question 4

Can I talk to my baby through the monitor?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the two-way talk feature lets you speak clearly to your baby from anywhere in your home — ideal for soothing them without rushing to the room.

Question 5

Does it work at night without leaving a light on?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! The LB603 features automatic infrared night vision, giving you a clear picture of your baby even in complete darkness.

Question 6

Sometimes the screen goes blank when my baby's room is quiet - why is this?

Accepted Answer

It sounds like VOX (Eco mode) is switched on. This switches off the screen (and sound) to save energy and restarts it as soon as sound is detected. You can turn it on / off with the VOX key (top right) and change the sensitivity in the menu settings.

Question 7

Can I add a second camera to monitor two rooms or 2 babies with the same parent unit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the LB603 Advance supports up to 2 cameras and will either switch between the two automatically on a timer or you can select which to view at any moment. (Second camera sold separately).

Question 8

My baby ate my monitor! Do you sell spare parts?

Accepted Answer

You are not alone, every week we get emails about teething babies chewing on the parent units, toddlers posting them down the loo or sleepy parents dropping them in the bath! Don't worry - replacement parts can be found on our Amazon store page.
