Bought as a gift for my husband. He loves to use (or find uses) for all the tools in the set. Looks very upscale when it’s all wiped clean and put in the stand. Footnote: the black metal set is NOT dishwasher safe.

First things first - Bare Barrel has provided a fantastic Japanese jigger with deep scoring and measures that are visible to the naked eye! My old eyes appreciate this as it cuts frustration when mixing, and the results are proper proportions for my cocktails. I wasn't sure if I'd like switching from my Boston shaker to a Cobbler, but I really like it! This change came from necessity as I was recovering from rotator cuff surgery and couldn't hold a Boston shaker together properly while shaking. All of the parts on the cobbler shaker in this set fit well and don't leak, it conducts heat/coldness quickly and efficiently, and it's beautiful. I am a fan of the brass finish! Lastly, I can't say enough about the fantastic customer service provided by Bare Barrel. My order sadly arrived with a damaged stand. They were fast to respond, friendly, offered a perfect solution, and fixed the issue for me immediately. This set is an attractive display of quality tools to complete any home bar.

Amazing! I absolutely LOVE the stainless steel set. The quality is great and the pieces in the shaker fit together tightly and I have never had an issue with leaks or anything. I loved this set so much I have purchased an additional as a gift for a friend. It was a perfect addition to our bar downstairs and it doesn't take up that much space on the counter. I highly recommend.

I love it it came as promised except I expected it to be brushed brass but instead it’s more crystal clear brass color very shiny I kind of expected a brushed brass look. None the less the product is really nice.

After putting this Bare Barrel 16-piece bartending kit to good use during my 25 days of holiday cocktails @angelalowry7, I can confidently say it's a stellar choice. The copper finish is just beautiful. The quality really surprised me - every tool has the perfect weight. The shaker especially has become my new best friend - it fits so naturally in my hands that I find myself wanting to mix "just one more" cocktail. The included organizer is a nice addition that keeps everything tidy and readily accessible. No more rummaging through drawers. My only wish? I'd love to see them add a nice pair of tweezers to the set - it would make garnishing those fancy holiday cocktails even more precise. Overall, this kit has exceeded my expectations and has me excited to continue exploring cocktail making in 2025.

This set by Bare Barrel is perfect for the novice home bartender but it also packs a punch for the more seasoned ones. I absolutely love mine and have impressed during the holiday season when I inevitably become the bartender at the parties I’m invited to. It looks beautiful but it also has all the tools I need to make simple and complicated drinks as well. Having the fine mesh sieve creates the most amazing froth on sour cocktails and I don’t see lots of bar kits including one of those! And if you have this and your friends actually make you head bartender, with the pour spouts added, if you’re counts are great, you won’t even need the jigger, even though I’ll happily use it cause it so pretty and easy to read the quantities marked on them. This kit is going on my list of bar gifts that I’ll be suggesting to my audience and to friends and family!

I bought the Cocktail Making Kit because I’ve always been fascinated with making cocktails at home, but didn’t really know where to start. The 16-piece set seemed like a great way to dive in, especially with the added bamboo stand and recipe cards, which I thought would help me stay organised and experiment with new drinks. Plus, it looked like a great gift idea, so I wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. When the kit arrived, the first thing I noticed was how nicely the bamboo stand held everything in place. It makes a big difference having everything neatly stored and on display rather than scattered around in a drawer. It gives a real professional feel to the whole setup. The shaker itself is a decent size at 675ml, which has been enough to make cocktails for a few people at once without having to refill constantly. The tools included are all quite standard—strainer, jigger, bar spoon, muddler, etc.—but they seem sturdy enough. I wouldn't say they feel premium, though. The pale grey finish looks stylish, but I did notice a few small imperfections on some of the pieces, particularly on the shaker where the coating seemed slightly uneven. Not a deal breaker, but a little disappointing considering the price point. As for the 35 recipe cards, I found them helpful but a bit basic. They give you the classics, like mojitos and margaritas, but I was hoping for more adventurous or unique cocktails to really up my game. Still, for a beginner like me, they’ve been a good starting point to build confidence in making drinks. One thing I found frustrating is that the kit doesn’t come with instructions on how to properly use all the tools. For someone new to mixology, it would have been helpful to have a guide or tips on techniques. I had to look up a few things online, which was a bit of a faff when I was trying to get into the flow of things. All in all, the Bare Barrel set is great for getting started with cocktail making at home. It looks lovely on the counter and has all the basics to get you mixing drinks like a pro. That said, it could be better if the quality control was improved, and the recipe cards offered a bit more variety. For beginners, it’s a solid kit, but if you’re more experienced, you might find it lacking that extra something.
