I have very fair, delicate skin and this has made such a difference with postpartum discoloration, especially on my underarms and groin area. I am so glad this is so reasonably priced - for how powerful and effective this product is, I can't believe it's so inexpensive!I learned about this stuff from a Reddit thread on how to mitigate strong BO. I've had huge hormonal shifts since having a baby and having thyroid issues, and even clinical strength deodorant wasn't cutting it anymore. Someone on a Reddit thread said they applied this to the under arms and then would apply deodorant, so I tried it and it WORKED!I was so impressed at how quickly it killed my strong body odor, that I decided to try its other applications. I started incorporating it into my face cleanse at night. The first couple of times I put it on my face, it did sting. I have sensitive skin so I almost stopped using it, but very quickly, it stopped stinging (maybe 3 days?). I had a seriously bad breakout after a few days and thought it caused it, but then read with chemical exfoliation, what's lying under the other skin layers comes up and is then cleansed. After this initial flare up, my skin calmed down and it has been the clearest I've seen it since hitting puberty. I have very oily skin and have been dealing with recurrent acne every Summer, even in my mid-thirties. This is the ONLY thing that has consistently made my skin clear. My skin cannot "get used to it" like with other skin care products, it just works.If you have oily, acne prone skin, strong BO, or build up on your scalp, this may be your game changing product like it has been for me!

This is great if you have never ending issues with blackheads and dull skin. Basically the glycolic acid peels the dead outer layer of skin cells so the fresh shiny new cells can pop up, and also blackheads can get out faster once the dead skin is out of the way. I used a bottle and just didn't order more because I have too many skincare things and wanted to reduce. Ultimately I do in fact need this in my lineup. My skin went back to weathered and dry looking, bumpy, when I wasn't using it instead of the smoother glass look I had 24/7. My skin would probably like a 5% formulation better (this one is 7%) since it's tingly and kind of sensitive when I'm using it, but that sensitivity goes away for me so for now I'm going to keep using this. This is a good product and glycolic acid is a good beauty tool in general to have.

i bought it because i have crazy strawberry skin and tbh, i see a positive difference on my skin. my skin looks more smoother and has way less hypopigmentation than before. i used it for a month on and off, but the results are nice. my strawberry skin didn’t completely go away but it’s faded to where it looks nicer when i wear shorts. it helped my arms more than my legs tbh. also ps. don’t put this on after shaving… lol. it burns.

Normally I wouldn’t bother writing a review for a product so well known as TO’s glycolic toner. However, I can’t resist proselytizing for a nonstandard use that has wildly improved my life: a pre-shampoo scalp treatment. I hopes this helps someone else out there.I have dry, flaky skin all over my body, and the last couple years this has started to include my scalp. (Gotta love the aging process.) For my body, this is easily fixed with regular use of acids and lotions, especially (for me) glycolic acid lotion. Not so easy for my scalp, given that I have long hair.I and my derm initially treated the flakes with dandruff remedies, which didn’t help in the slightest. Turns out, dandruff is a specific medical condition (#notallflakes). Dry skin can’t be fixed with dandruff treatments because it’s not dandruff. We even tried medicated shampoos, and those burned my scalp so bad it took months before the tenderness faded.I was desperately enough to consider using glycolic body lotion in my hair, but when I searched for a more watery lotion than the one I have, I found this toner.I’m not exaggerating when I say this changed my life. If you have a flaky scalp you know what I mean. I went from shedding grody snow everywhere to a completely flake-free scalp in just a month. My hairstylist was shocked at the difference.How I use it: I wrap a terrycloth headband around my head, positioned low on my forehead but above my ears (to protect my eyes and ear canals). Then I just douse my head with this toner and massage to make sure it gets past the hair to the scalp all over. The first time, I waited only 5 minutes and then shampooed, because I didn’t know if it would irritate my scalp. (If you try this, use your own best judgment.) It didn’t irritate my scalp, so a week later I left it on for 20 minutes. I now use it every week, once a week, for 20-30 minutes, before shampooing. It’s freaking amazing.An 8 ounce bottle lasts me about 6 treatments. I will happily buy this the rest of my life if needed.

This glycolic acid is great and for a great price!!! I like using glycolic acid on more than just my face, it's been a miracle for my dry heels. This makes me feel less guilty about using so much when it comes in a bigger affordable bottle. I will be buying on repeat!
