I have fine, dry hair. So if I wash it more often, it gets dry and brittle. If I wash less often, it gets oily and lank. It's a tightrope... and I also have flare ups of seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp only, leading to waxy flakes. I have tried different scalp exfoliators and serums to less than impressive results. If you have SD, or perhaps just dry skin dandruff, I would most definitely suggest this. The bottle comes with a nozzle applicator, perfect for running through sections of scalp while not drenching the hair. Sometimes I massage this into my scalp before I wash my hair, let it set for a few minutes, and shower normally. If you really want a super-powered experience, section and coat your scalp in the evening, massage in, put on a shower cap, and sleep with it overnight. Your morning shower will not disappoint. The first time I tried it, as my hair was air drying HUGE flakes started separating from my scalp. The acid wasn't creating the flakes, it was lifting my dead skin and sebum flakes up and away to reveal soft pink scalp underneath. Now as a regular user who uses for upkeep, the flakes have diminished greatly and my scalp and roots of my hair feel SQUEAKY CLEAN. And my ends aren't even dried out! Also, even after sitting all night, this product washes out so easily and cleanly. It doesn't leave a weird hair texture like some products I've tried. Thirteen dollars for a generous sized bottle has made me a devout customer!

I got what is called “strawberry legs” after my pregnancy. I’m not sure if it was due to hormonal changes or my age even. I hated it. I refused to wear shorts. I saw a dermatologist on social media talking about this product and I ordered it right away and it did wonders! I love it! After a couple weeks of using it most of it is gone. It can also be used for so many other things. I had dandruff and such a bad itchy scalp and nothing was working, not dandruff shampoo or tea tree. I made sure to follow the instructions and it improved so much. Affordable and multi use. I’m always going to make sure I have this.

I have used this product 3x a week and have already seen improvements in deep pitted scar discoloration (so that it is “lightening” or “even” appearance) very impressed. I only withheld one star because of the heightened sunburn risk which is not against the product itself as the warning label for that is present, I just happen to be a sun lover and can say you will burn more easily if you do not use protective measures accordingly. Would repurchase again :)

This product has so many uses, and it’s an excellent price!I bought this initially to work on my cracked heels. I rubbed this on with a cotton round, then applied urea lotion, and then finally put on heel socks. I have noticed a nice change with the roughness of my feet. I also love using this on my hands and arms for dark spots. Finally, this is a wonderful exfoliate on the scalp for dandruff (I think I watch too many dermatology videos!)I haven’t even used this yet for the most common purpose which is exfoliating the face. Seriously, this does so much, and I love the Ordinary and their prices! They have wonderful products !
