If protein powders had personalities, Vega Original Essential Protein in Creamy Vanilla would be that cheerful friend who convinces you to start your morning on the right foot. This stuff has become my go-to for quick smoothies and post-workout shakes. The flavor is creamy, lightly sweet vanilla that doesn’t taste like melted birthday candles (a rare win in the protein world). It blends surprisingly well, whether you’re shaking it up in a bottle or tossing it in a smoothie. Highly recommend this quality product that has a smooth texture and superior digestibility. Bonus points for being vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and dairy-free, so it plays nice with just about everyone. Can also support weight loss.

I worked for FedEx as a Package Handler. Woman(25) 110ibs 5”2 at that time. Was really skinny from the job but wasn’t getting the muscles I wanted and needed to regulate my body to really be able to lift and not feel fatigued so often. Worked 8-12 hours, body really tired by the end of final shift. Stretch before and after every shift. Will do wonders. Have a good amount of sleep and stay hydrated, especially in the summer. Drank at least 3-10 water bottles, 10 on a good day. Stay hydrated. Will this hydrate you? Not enough. I don’t bring this big lug with me. I take a bottle right before work starts. And then when I get home, I make another one of these drinks to drink then stretch and knockout. After almost a whole year of this consistency, I gained 20-30ibs. Literally built on muscles but still looking tiny. Work felt easier but dehydration still hard to beat. Easy to digest, lots of clumping but I try my best to stir it super good and drink it while it’s broken down and mixed. Tastes like oats or a hard baby Enfamil. Just because you drink this, you must also fill your tummy on other proteins and vitamins. Don’t make this your only meal. It don’t work like that.

This is my go to protein. I’m a plant-based person. I also don’t do aspartame, erythritol or sucralose and this is sweetened with Stevia. The flavor is a little on the strong side, so if you’re using this with fruit or you want to taste something else in the mix, I suggest using only one scoop and maybe using a scoop of additional unflavored protein powder. This brand also has chalky texture. So if texture is a thing to you and you don’t like chalky, this is a bit on the chalky side compared to other protein powders.

I’ve used this brand before and also thought it was chalky, BUT WHAT IVE JUST DISCOVERED 🤩, is that when I blend just the powder with milk (or whatever base?) FIRST (before any added ingredients), then the creamy texture and surprisingly delicious flavor I’ve been missing out on becomes five star review worthy.

Really happy with this protein. The vanilla flavor is smooth and not overly sweet, and it mixes better than most plant‑based powders I’ve tried. I’ve been using it in shakes after workouts and it’s easy on the stomach. Good ingredients, good texture, and it actually tastes like vanilla instead of chalk. Definitely one I’d buy again.

Love the item. I ordered the peanut butter flavor and I enjoy it on a daily basis. I know many people will not enjoy the flavor, but let’s be honest, when it comes to food and drinks, it all comes down to preference and taste buds. In my case I loved and my wife tolerates it. As far as quality, I do believe it is great quality as shown by some 3rd party studies. I enjoy the convenience and price of buying in bulk, especially when training. As far as keeping you satisfied, I think it does a good job, but because it is plant based don’t expect to fill like it can be a meal replacement, plus it is easily digestible, or at least that is my case, which I like too. I don’t feel bloated, nor gassy which has happened with other type of protein shakes. I will continue buying this product, especially when it is on sale and I stock up

/Mixes ok but it has the chalky/powder taste. The first time I tried it I thought that I didn’t blend it long enough. So I blended it a second time for 1 minute but it still tastes the same. I’m going back to Isopure after I finish this.

It’s good for protein. The texture is gritty. The flavor is alright. It’s not great but it’s not bad either. I had no issues with digesting it.

Yo feliz con esta proteína. Me agradan los sabores veganos. Sin embargo hay quienes prefieren la proteína de suero de leche. Es tema de gustos y paladares.
