Expensive, but a nice option if you are doing lots of floors. We are redoing all our wood floors. Did the whole brush on the hands and knees in the 1st room. This works great and saved the bones and time also! I purchased an extra tube brush, just in case. I'm cheap and planned to reuse them. Totally doable but you need to make sure you clean them really good with some good mineral spirits. I used some cheap stuff and used $12 of spirits for cleaning a $18 tube brush. One of mine I didn't get completely clean and it was partly hard so it doesn't work very well now. Otherwise they seem very durable since I worked them fairly hard.

Got this to do a diy sand/ refinish of some old hardwood floors. I've never done a refinish and bought this based on YouTube videos and manufacturer recommendations (not this specific model, but to use a t-bar). Not much learning curve so I got the hang of it pretty quick and my project turned out nice. It saved me a ton of time and got the quality job I was hoping for.

I have finished floors with polyurethane several times using brushes or rollers but this is 10 times faster and a much better finish! I did screw up one room because I poured it on too thick and didn't stir the oil-based poly as I went but subsequent rooms I did much better. Also, I added an LED headlamp to my floor halogen in order to improve the visibility of the finish as I am progressing through the process of pouring the polyurethane and then spreading it. This way you can see defects better when you can immediately recoat that piece before it dries. Downside: I couldn't find a way to save the pad after the last day of finishing as in between coats I just put it in a plastic bag that is well sealed. Afterwards the mineral spirits wouldn't clean it up so I just budget in a new pad for each finish that I do. Still worth the price for the improvement in quality and speed!

Ive just sanded down our hardwood floor and this T bar applicator is perfect. I just poured clear coat varnish in a line on the floor and this applicator does the job perfectly. I just put it on the end of an extendable pole, not included, there is only one foam applicator but i wrapped it in a plastic bag.

Bright enough to light up a medium size washroom

The "t"-bar is fairly well built, however the applicator refill is not durable. While I was cleaning the applicator refill, it started to fall apart. Lucky I got my 3 coats of flooring finish done before it happened. Using waterborne floor finish.
